"Thank you Maddie" The teacher smiled as I sat back on my desk.
Family Class is as boring as it sounds but I really enjoy it. I played with a string of my dirty blonde hair while I watched the other students take turn to describe their families on the board.
"Hey Maddie" Kendall whispered. Kay sits next to me on the desk to the left.
"What?" I asked still facing the board.
"Do you think I can sleep over tonight?"
"Again?" I frowned. I don't mind Kendall sleeping over at my house but it's been so frequently lately.
Kendall nodded her head a little embarrassed. "Sure" I smiled at her "Always"
"Swear?" She asked pointing her pinky finger up.
I twisted my pinky finger around hers and nodded "Swear"
Kendall, Gino and Chloe are all in my class.
I've been in the same school all my life and since 8th grade we've also been in the same Dance studio, ALDC. Gino is really shy around us, I guess it's just because he's the only boy in our dance company.
"Class dismissed" The teacher sang.
I grabbed my notebooks and pencil case and ran out of the classroom.
"Hey Gino" I tapped his shoulder with my hand. He turned around surprised "What?"
"I don't mean to scare you" I giggled.
He half smiled and nodded his head.
"I've been wondering, would you like to have lunch with us today?"
"You mean with you the girls and your boyfriend?"
"Yeah..." I trailed off. I pushed the hair of my face and said "But if you don't want to it's ok I-"
"It's cool" He shrugged.
"Really?!"
Damn, Maddie chill.
"I mean yeah cool" I said after clearing my throat.
I turned around and walked straight to my locker.
Maddie what are you doing?
I opened my locker and placed my notebooks in.
"Hey" Josh's voice interrupted my thoughts.
"Hey" My voice was shaky. I cleared my throat again and lean against my locker.
"What you've been up to?" Josh smiled kissing my forehead.
I wasn't just talking to Gino 5 minutes ago. Of course I was not.
"Clearing my locker" I shrugged.
"Maddison" And there is only one person who calls me that.
"Mackenzie" I turned around to face her.
"Where are you having lunch today?" She asked.
"Probably the cafeteria" I snapped.
"Gross" Mackenzie laughed.
Mackenzie always eats out of school. She's a junior so she's aloud to eat out of school.

"Hey Gino!" I waved my hand towards the table. On our table sat Chloe, Ricky, Kendall, Nia, Paige , Josh and myself. No one can sit there unless we approve of it, we're seniors.
