Here For You - Part 5
Bella's POV:
I grip on to something, it felt like a hand...the next thing I know, I hear a familiar voice begging me to wake up. I slowly open my eyes, and I see Ruben holding my hand, and I start to smile, Ruben was looking out the window...then I start looking around, and I'm in a hospital bed, in the hospital...and I'm hooked up to a bunch of machines, and I have an I.V. in my arm. Ruben looks at me with his eyes full of relief and happiness...then I see a big smile appear on his face. I smile back at him with great fullness. "I'm so glad you're awake." He says with tears starting to fill his eyes. My eyes start feeling up with tears, I really thought I was gonna die, but Ruben saved me. "How long have I've been in here?" "Almost 6 hours...but I'm just glad you're okay." "How did you know?" "I had a weird feeling, and I decided to call you...when I noticed I called you about 50 times, I right away came over to your house to check on you...then when I got there, you didn't answer the door...so, I took out the spare key you gave me, and I got into your house and found you on the floor and brought you here." "I knew it was a good idea to give you my spare...thank you so much, I'm alive because of you." "I just don't understand why he would do this to you, what happened?" I look down at his hand, then I look back up at him and sigh. "He was on his way over to my house...then when he got there, I could tell in his voice that he'd been drinking...then when I let him in, he pushed me out of the way and went over to my couch...then I told him that we should talk, and when I told him that we both should move on, he got upset, came up to me and hit me the face...he kept going until I blacked out, and the next thing I know, I here your voice and I wake up in a hospital bed." "I'm never gonna let anything else happen to you ever...I plan on staying by your side no matter what, and I'm never gonna leave until you push me away." "Well, there's no way I'm pushing you away, especially after what you've done for me...thank you so much Ruben." "I love you Bella, and nothing's ever gonna change that." He gets up and hugs me. "As long as I'm around you'll always be safe." "I love you so much Ruben." "I love you too, more than you know." As far as I know right now...I think our friendship, just turned into a relationship...I'm so blessed to have him in my life.

Ruben's POV:
As I'm holding Bella in my arms, I feel like we just became something closer than best friends. I'm really glad we did...after all, she does need someone who's gonna treat her right and be there for her no matter what. She will always be my Bella, and I will always be her Ruben. As long as we're together, nothing completely terrible can happen. I love her with all my heart, and I know she loves me the same way I do...I can tell.
