Here For You - Part 10
The Next Day:
Bella's POV:
I woke up, feeling relaxed. Especially knowing that Ruben's with me...but when I got up, I didn't see Ruben in my room. I got up, washed my face and brushed my teeth and my hair. Then I walk into the living room, and I see Ruben asleep on the couch. Why did he come to the living room? I walk up to Ruben, and I stroke his arm. He starts opening his eyes, and reaches out for my hand. He gets up, and pats the couch waiting for me to sit down next to him. "Bella, we should talk about something really quick." He says. "Okay." I say while sitting next to him. "Do you know where Emmanuel could be?" "Why, is there something going on?" "Yeah...and I need to know at least every place he'd be, or every place he stays." "Okay...but what's going on?" "I think he was here last night." "Wait, what...why?!" "I don't know...but that's what I'd like to know too." "What happened, what did he do?" "He was here last night, and all he did was stare at your house." "Is that why you slept in the living room?" "To protect you...I told you, I'm always gonna be here here for you, and I'm never gonna let anything happen to you ever again." When he said that...I smiled, and hugged him. "Thank you Ruben." "I love you baby girl, I hate seeing you hurt, upset, or in any other bad conditions." We let go of each other, and I take him into the kitchen and make a list for him of the places I know Emmanuel would be.

In The Kitchen:
Ruben's POV:
Bella hands me the list she made of places that Emmanuel would stay and/or be. "Here you go." She says. "Thanks." "Your welcome." She says with a smile. I smile back at her, and reach out for her hand. She reaches out her hand for my hand, and we start holding each other's hands...while still holding her hand, I take her back into the living room and we sit down on the couch. "Bella, how do really feel about all of this?" "To be honest...I feel kinda nervous...or maybe a little scared." She says. "Would you like to stay with me, until I I know that you feel completely safe, or at least until I make sure you're completely safe...especially from Emmanuel?" "Please." She says reaching out to hug me with tears starting to feel her eyes. "Okay." I say holding her.
