*Dylan's POV*
I was sitting on the bench, waiting for Dani.
"Hey Dylan..." She said as she came nearer to me. "Hi.." I said.
"So what did you want to talk about?" She asked.
"I just wanted to say that I'm really sorry for hurting you..." I said nervously.
"Mhmm... I hope you didn't mean what you said though. And you had a crush on me?" She said. "Umm Yeah I kinda did when we first met," I said, ruffling my hair.
"Oh okay. So why'd you leave Lauren?" She asked mysteriously. "Uum... I left her because uum... Uuum I was seeing someone else." I said as I bit my lip.
"Ooh, so who is it?" She said, smiling.
Damn. I was so nervous. What should I answer?
*Dani's POV*
"Secreeeett. So, are you seeing anyone?" He asked me, in a creppy kinda way and funny at the same time.
"Yeah I am. But I don't know if he likes me back or not." I said to him.
"Oh, I guess we're seeing different people," He said dissapointedly.
"Soooo, tell me who you like....." I teased.
"No you first!" We started to laugh and argue, and in the end, he gave it up.
"Fine fine. Don't be shocked ok." He said
"Mhmm." I nodded.
"Uum... I like.. Uuh I like...." He was beggining to become nervous, and so was I.
"Oh come on!" I demanded.
"Fine fine!.. Uuh.. To be honest Dani... I like you." He finally told me.
Wait what. Whatthe?
"Really?" I asked, just to make sure.
"Yeah...So who do you like?" He asked.
Should I tell? Should I tell him that I feel the same way? Dammit. I'm so nervous.
"Dylan.. I feel the same way about you." I stammered nervously. I didn't even make eye contact.
He just sat there with his jaw down on the ground. He froze.
*Dylan's POV*
Really? She liked me? I'm gonna burst with joyyyy!
"Dani.. I know I just got over a break-up but... Will you be my girlfriend?" I said as I held her hand.
"Uum..." She was still progressing it in her mind. I gave her some time to think.
"Dani? Dylan?" Someone's voice rung from the back. I immediately let go of Dani's hand.
Craaapp. I didn't get her answer yet. And guess who called us? Yeah, Lauren did. Uughh. Now what will I do? She saw me grabbing Dani's hand. We just stood there in awkward silence...
"Uum.. I should get going. See you tomorrow Laur, Dani." I said and ran with full speed to my house.
As soon as I reached home, it was already 5:30. I was really hungry, So I went to Jason's room asking him if we could invite Dani's family over.
Of course Jason said yes, So I called them inviting them over to Dinner. They all agreed and told me they'd be over in 5 minutes. I was so happy since I could meet Dani again. I needed her answer. I was dying for it.
*5 minutes later*
"Hey guys! Come on in!" I greeted. I led them to the table and called the girls and Jason down. I saw only 9 of them were here.
"Where's Dani and Lauren?" I asked.
" Oh Dani didn't come home yet since she left at 4, then she texted me saying she'll be back soon." Chrissy said.
"What? Excuse myself for a moment. Lisa, can you come here?" I whispered to her.
"Sure," She said and followed me into the kitchen.
"Lisa. Please help me find Dani and Lauren." I beegged. She understood and we quickly snuck into her car and checked the Cimorelli household. No one was there, so I basically panicked and suddenly it started to rain. We were getting worried of Lauren, since she said she was gonna look for Dani. I tried to contact Dani, but she rejected my calls.
Me and Lisa sped to the park, where the two were last seen. I saw Dani on the swing, crying.
Without thinking, I went out of the car immediately to chase her. Lisa told me to stay, but I didn't listen.
" Dani! Dani why are you here?" I said, panicking.
"I'm sorry Dylan, I'm sorry. I really want to be your girlfriend I just thought maybe Lauren would be super mad at me, and we'll have fights," She sobbed.
"Oh baby, it's ok, don't cry," I comforted her and pulled her into a hug.
After a while, she told me:
"Yes Dylan. Yes I will be your girlfriend." I was so happy, I pulled her into a kiss. We kissed for about 10 seconds, when suddenly I saw Lauren out of the corner of my eye.
She was crying, and me and Dani immediately stopped. When Lauren saw us, she immediately ran.
"Lauren! Laur! Please stop!," Dani yelled as she was trying to catch Lauren.
"Lauren please, I'm sorry!!!" She screamed. Dani. She didn't notice a car was coming towards her direction.
I immediately screamed, and Lisa did too. "WATCH OUT DANI!" We yelled.
But it was too late. Dani didn't see it, and she got hit. The car immediately stopped and suddenly there was a lot of blood.
I immediately ran to her, crying and Lisa went to call the ambulance and check if she was ok.
I picked her up bridal style, and just stood there, in the middle of the rain. Regretting every single thing I did. Now the girl I love, She's hurt. Because of who? Because of me.
I was devastated.
While Lauren just froze.
She looked like she saw a ghost.
