Chapter 10: "Smirks"

So i know i just updated but i was already a chapter ahead and figured i would give you all a second update.. I am going to keep writing and trying to better the book and my style. I just hope you all bare with me as i learn and Grow as a writer.

                 When the movie ended some of the guys decided it was time to go, Leaving Kayla and Renee here with myself, Derek, Scott and Jett.

The girls and I decided on 50 First Dates while the guys where in the kitchen. It had been our go to movie since we seen it in theaters when it came out. Who doesn't love Drew and Adam and the plus.... It is a rom com.

Getting comfy, the girls on one couch and myself in the oversized chair, we start our movie thinking the boys are not going to return.

To our surprise they join us, Derek with a Different look on his face, making me wonder what is going on, making himself comfy on the couch next to Kayla. Renee and Scott on the love seat and Jett sitting on the arm of the over sized chair acting like he couldn't get comfy and that both of us would not fit on the chair together.

He was making me uncomfortable so I decided since we didn't get snacks that I would be the good host and ask everyone what they wanted...

Kayla asks for a water and apple, Scott asked for a soda, and Renee wanted so strawberries. Entering the Kitchen I did not realize that I had company, Until I turned around and was mere inches from Jetts chest.

My Eyes locked on his rock hard chest which his t-shirt only emphasized, Blushing a little I looked up to find him smirking at me knowing he knew I was checking out his amazing upper body. I looked elsewhere as fast as I could trying to hide the blush that was creeping up my neck to my cheeks.

"You know you are Beautiful even when you blush" He said while taking my chin in his warm, soft hand and turning my gaze back to his.

"Your only saying that because I am Dereks sister, You probably feel you have to be nice to me." I Replied moving away from his grasp, Remembering what happened a few weeks back,and going to the fridge to dig out the strawberries the rest of what Renee and them wanted.

I knew Jett hadn't left the kitchen just by the feeling of eyes on me. I stood up with all our snack items plus more, struggling to keep everything from falling I rushed to the counter only to hear a snicker and look up to see Jett still in the kitchen, leaning on the counter with a sexy smirk on his face.

"What are you snickering at Jett? Could you help me instead of laughing?" I manage while scowling at Him.

"What do I get if I help?" He ask

"I wont kick you in the chin and you might get one more favor if your nice to me for the rest of the night." I said managing a nice smile.

"How about I help you and you admit to the world that I am the hottest guy on the planet." He winks

I cant help but laugh so bad that I am almost on the floor in a laughing fit.

"You wish, You and I both know my opinion does not matter and that if I did that then you'd think you were hot and get a bigger head then what you have now,. I do not think the world needs for you to have a even bigger ego." I manage while trying to keep my laughing under control

Making sure I could handle everything I started back to the den..

Only I didn't make it back, Neither did that snacks.

Why?

Because Jett softly grabbed my waist making me drop all of our snack items to the floor. He turned me around with little effort and softly kissed me sending a shock thru my body.
