Tobi was sixteen and a sophomore. He knew about things like sex and marriage and most adult stuff. What he hasn't anticipate was being gay and developing a crush on his neighbor of twenty two. He was confused at first as to what it was he was feeling for his blond hair neighbor. At first is seemed as though he wanted to be friends with him, now he knew better. He had gone over to Deidara's house thousands if times. He and Obito used to go over there when his parents would work late. They always had such a good time over there. They played board games and watch ton of movies or went out for pizza. It was never dull. Now going over there meant looking your best so he would pay a little closer attention to you.
That seemed to be a full time job. As of the last year, Tobi had yet to gain Deidara's attention just turned fifteen and Deidara had come to the party all smiles and talking about Tobi being almost grown. Toni had taken pride in knowing that he was old enough to be considered almost grown. Which meant to him that Deidara didn't see him as a child
Deidara on the other hand was unaware if Tobi's thoughts and feelings. He saw Tobi as his young neighbor who was a good kid with so much potential. He would be surprise to know the things that Tobi thought about him while alone in his room. He would be shocked to know that Tobi wanted him in all ways a boy wants a girl it wasn't I'm a neighborly fashion.
