Morning Light (brojen one shots!)

The Power

After the world shut down on all electronics, nothing has worked, no phones, computer, TV, or anything. The world was put into three groups; the City, they are the ones who own land and power. They can do anything that will cause harm to anyone who disagrees with them. Then their is the middle, they got some say but not a lot. They will harm you but differently than the City, lastly, there are the small, they are regular people. But live in poverty, they live in horrible houses, and beg the middle for coins for food for their families. I though am not any of those, I'm an outlaw, the ones who roam the woods surviving by killing the animals and protecting myself from other outlaws out here. Every morning is the same thing, I get up hunt food with my bow and arrow and cook it by the fire then hunt food for a week. Since I live in a old house no one knows I live here.

One night I was laying in bed when I hear a huge bang at my door, I put on my ragged up shirt and look out the window, its really pouring out there and I hear thunder till I hear the loud knocking, I walk to the door and listen to crying and whispers "please!" I open the door to find a boy, he was bare naked and crying with blood all over him "please! Let me in! I got banished from the City! Please!" I open the door more so can get in I light a few candles and sit down on my make shift bed as he cries on the floor, "do you need anything?" He just sat there, I got some clothes that are too small on me but it might fit him and give it to the boy, he was putting on the pants while I was cleaning his whip cuts "OW!" He jumped but I stayed calm and put a healing plant on his body. After I finished I put his shirt on and looked at him "why were you banished? And what brings you in my house?" He keeps looking at the fire and sighs "they were moving.." "Who was?" "The City, they have said there was more power in the Middle, but I told them that I didn't want to cause I have a home there...they beat me and whipped me in front of everyone, my mother and father  just stood there; watching. When I was at my end...they banished me. Striped me naked and pushed me into outlaws and here I am." I look down as I remember that I was a part of the City, but I left on my own. I look at the boy he was so drawn to the fire, he put his hand out and moved it close to the fire, I grabbed his hand moved it away "sorry, I just want to see how fire burns." I help him up and lead him to my make shift bed and he lays down "your name?" I asked, he looked down and played with my blanket and sighed "Bran, Bran Stark. What about you?" I look at him "you'll find that out soon." Then I walk down to my worn out couch and fell asleep.

In the morning I woke up to the rain again but I saw Bran look at the rain out the window, he put his hand on the window and looks down. "I'm hungry.. Is there any food?" I get up and go outside, he watches as I shoot a squirrel and a bird. He looks disgusted but I don't care. I walk back in and grab my skinning knife and skin the squirrel and throw the bird at him "pluck it." He looks at the dead bird and plucks it, "There's blood on my pants!" "Get used to it." After he was done (took 2 hours) we put them on the fire "do you have sauces?" I go to my cooler and get some homemade sauces and walk back to him "you are really from the City aren't you?" He nodded, when they were done I took out the heart, kidneys, and the liver "for later.." "Ew." We eat in silence, I take time to eat mine when he eats like crazy. When he was done he looked at me "is there more?" I shake my head "no..you have to wait till dinner." He nods and gets up "what do you do for fun here?" I shrug "try to make electronics work." He smiles "can I see?" I shake my head "that's my alone time..excuse me.." I get up and walk to my office and start working.

I look at the phone that I was working on for a month, I got the keys in the right place, *now the light* I look at the sun and see that its five o'clock, I close the office door and lock it behind me as I get things ready for dinner. I start cooking and I see bran walk in holding something "what do you have?" He puts down in front of me "its more food!" I look in, and its canned food, "how did you find these?" He looked down "I stole them..from the Middle." I nod and start cooking some peas and what's left of the bird and squirrel. When we were eating, I was the one who ate the peas like crazy, I never had them and they were amazing. Bran on the other hand ate them normally, he looked at me as I got up and grabbed a second helping of peas, "can I please know your name? You do know mine.." As I sat back down I sighed "....Jojen."

After our dinner we sat by the fire, he put his head around my shoulder and I wrapped my arms over his shoulder, he sighed "do you think people hate each other for loving someone?" I looked at him "I don't know. Why?" He looked up "cause I loved someone while I was at the City, he was a man, but he betrayed me and slept with a woman. He and she got banished and I heard that they died on the first night by the other outlaws, the cannibals." I laughed, I actually remember that day..my friend Dylan had some of him and that girl "I ate the pussy!" He said. I looked at Bran who watched the fire "do love someone now?" He nodded "yeah..I'm kinda worried though," "why?" He sat up and looked in my eyes "I love a outlaw.." I laid down and he laid on top of me "who is it?" I asked, then he kissed me, I knew it was me. I kissed back and put my hands everywhere on his body, he pulled away and smiled "tell me about this outlaw?" I laughed, he sat up and straddled me "this outlaw is different then ones the City were talking about. This one builds power back, I think he wants to change the world, bring electronic devices back..but I don't think its going to work. Oh! And he also is a great kisser!" I smile, take off his shirt, and kiss his harmed body, he moans a little but I pull away "you can stay here if you wish." He smiled and kissed me "I would love too!

After our night of "claiming mates" we just laid by the door as it rain with my blanket my mother gave me before she died wrapped around us. I play with with his knee cap as he blushes. He looks up at me and asks "would you like children?" I smile "yes..one day..maybe when a family is banished and they come to us for the baby." He laughs and kisses my neck "or I can get pregnant.."I roll my eyes and kiss his lips "one day.."

A/N: hello internet! I am back! I wrote this part cause "why not make one about the end of the electronic apocalypse where its all blown up!" Anyways I hope you like it very much! And I made it long! I had made a new story! Its called 'Falling to pieces' I hope you guys read it! Its really good!
