Prologue-

I ran as fast as i could, my legs starting to ache and my vision starting to blur, i had to find somewhere to hide her, somewhere safe, where no-one could find her.

My grip tightened around the big basket i was carrying, making sure it wouldn't fall out of my grip. "This is it" i whispered to myself while approaching a small orphanage, "it's perfect" I placed down the basket onto the door footsteps, i looked down at the basket and pulled off the blanket placed on top of it. My beautiful June.

I kissed her temple and took one last deep breath before covering her fragile body with the soft small blanket, i looked left then right making sure no-one was watching. Then i darted away, my eyes watering both from the cold wind hitting right against my face, and from leaving my baby daughter. My precious, June.

{Miss Julies' POV}

I lazily get up from the couch ive been napping on, slowly turning my head to the clock hanging on the wall to my left, "Good Heavens!! Look at the time" I swiftly get up from my sitting position and sprint to my bedroom, only to stop dead on my tracks.

I could swear there was someone standing on the front door's footsteps. I slowly walk up to the slim window right next to the door and peek outside. Nothing. My eyes scan up, then down, then i see a basket, with a small note tied to it. I dont want to go outside, what if this is another trick from our silly neighbors?

I can barely read it due to the small pink blanket placed on top of the basket that covers half of the note, making it very difficult for me to see. A few minutes passed and im still arguing wheter i should or not go outside to grab the basket. I finally give in and slowly open the door making sure it wouldnt make a noise. i slowly walk up to the basket, then in a blink, i rapidly grab it and sprint inside scared that

something might pop out from the shadows.

"Silly me" I thought, "Why would the neighbors stay up this late just to pull one of their pranks on me?" I chuckle to myself erasing my past thoughts about being scared.

I carefully untie the note from the basket and read it.

"Please take care of her, she is the last member of our family. I dont have much time, just please, keep her safe, keep her inside, and never, ever, let anyone adopt her unless you think it's the right time. I know this seems extremely confusing, but trust me, you'll know when the right time comes.

Sincerely, unknown"

I cannot believe my eyes, am i dreaming? Is there really a baby right underneath this blanket? I dont think twice before i remove it. And there it is, big green eyes staring right at me. A small necklace hung on her petite neck, "June" it reads, so this must be her name huh? Very well, i shall promise to take care of this girl as if she was my very own. Until "the right time comes". God knows when "the time" will come.
