Two Months Later

*Danielle's POV*

I crouch down from my standing position at Emily's porch to get the silver key from beneath the welcome mat laid below of the front door. I jam the sharp key into the keyhole and twist to get in. (A/N Hehe. Dirty mind..) I step inside and call out Emily's name.

"Emily!!" No one answers. I sigh and deposit my duffel bag and windbreaker quietly beside the front door. I saunter into the kitchen in hopes to find some food after my long flight from Manchester. Perrie and I had danced and sang background for XFactor UK for the thirteenth season for a few months. (I don't know what season it is, I just made up a random number.) I opt to visit Emily to see how she is doing with the baby but apparently she isn't here. I spin at my heel when I faintly hear heavy feet jog up the stairs of the large basement. I casually place myself on a metal stool with a cup of tea and a wheat chicken sadwich right when Liam comes through the basement door shirtless and sweating. A slightly shocked expression on his face is shown when he finds me staring at his abs amused. He must've been working out in the gym downstairs.

"Erm, hey. I didn't expect to see you here." He scratches the back of his head awkwardly. "I thought you were out for XFactor?" The sentence turns up in the end, making it seem like a question.

"I was, but Perrie and I just got back. I was hoping to see Emily... where are the others?" I munch on the crunchy lettuce of my sandwich and spin slightly on the stool. Liam walks over to where I am sat and grabs an apple from the table and says with "sad" puppy eyes, "You mean you didn't come to see me?"

I chuckle and slap his shoulder lightly. "I didn't mean that. I missed you a lot. But my number one motive was coming to see Emily to see how she is doing with the baby." He chuckles and takes a big bite out of the Granny Smith Apple in his hand.

"They're out shopping for clothes for Sammie." I nod and continue chewing on my already half-eaten sandwich. I stare dazed at the floor until my eyes shoot up to Liam when he asks, "I know you're tired and all, but I was wondering if you wanted to go out tonight? Like, just us? As in... a date?" My mouth stops chewing and I stare at him mischievously. Liam Payne? Asking me out for a date? Is this real??

"I would love that." He jumps up slightly in "victory" and comes over to me to kiss my cheek. I scrunch up my nose when he hugs me.

"Alright, alright. Now go upstairs to take a shower. You smell." Liam chuckles and runs up the stairs. Good thing I brought a change of clothes. I stride back to the front door after putting my dishes away and grab my new white iPhone from the pocket of my purple duffel bag. I glance at the brown clock with the brown birds flying by it and the quote "time flies" to see if Perrie might be at her house yet.

Four thirty.

She should be at home, unless she's out with Zayn or something. Those two are getting too close. I turn my phone on and sit on the floor. I start to make a new conversation with Emily.

To: Emmiieeexxxx

Hey Em! I'm at your house; just got home from XFactor! ;D Listen, Liam and I are going out somewhere, can I use your room to change and do my hair? Pweasee? :3 xxxxxx

I lay back onto the wall to stretch my neck, then feel the familiar buzz of my phone to signal a new text.

From: Leeyum;)

Oh yeah. Wear something nice. :) x

I sigh and murmur "you have got to be kidding me" to myself. I only have a pair of ripped jeans and a hoodie. I don't have a dress! My phone buzzes in my palm again.

You're mine, he said. (WATTYS 2013) (One Direction Fanfiction)Where stories live. Discover now
