"Prince, stop! Where are you going?!" Jaden yelled chasing after him. But Prince just picked up speed. He couldn't outrun Jaden. He's been in two movies that were highly physically demanding. Prince was also on the track team, so who knew how long this would last? They both ran and screamed at one another. The people on the streets looked at them as if they were crazy. But neither one would stop. Not until Prince, who was ahead, spotted a cop car. He stopped immediately and Jaden bumped into him.
"You two running from something? There a problem boys?" The officer asked.
"Um. N-no officer." Prince muttered out of breath.
"No running on these streets. ya' hear?" He scolded. The boys nodded their heads as he sent them off. They turned in the opposite direction and walked awkwardly.
"Jacob. I'm sorry. I never wanted to hurt you." Jaden said sincerely.
"Save your fucking apology. I have plenty of those. If you wanted to break up then, you should've told me. Instead of cheating on me. Whether or not we broke up or not." He spoke bluntly.
"But I don't wanna lose you. And I know you don't wanna be with me. And I don't wanna be with Craig. He's just there." Jaden told him reaching for his hand.
Prince put his pockets in his Adidas sweatpants and looked down as he walked. "I don't trust you." He said. That broke Jaden. He was young, but he knew love.
"I'll do anything to get it back." He admitted.
"Won't happen." Prince said.
"Wha-what?" Jaden stuttered.
"Won't fucking happen!!" Prince yelled back and walked ahead. Soon, they weren't even on the same street. Neither one of them going back to the dance studio. But both walking to some type of comfort in tears.
