Jessica:

I walked through the hallway, just lucky enough to get out of 2nd period. It's really hard here making new friends. Holding my books close to me, I walked to the next period class scheduled for me. I walked into the classroom, hoping I could make some new friends. I walked to an empty seat, beside a very snobbish girl. I wanted so bad to make a good impression on her. As I sat down, I put my books down on the desk, turning to the girl. I waved slowly, saying "Hi. I'm Jessica. But you can call me Jessie." I smiled, hoping I made a new friend. She just scoffed and turned around. Crappers. What did I do wrong? The guy sitting behind me grabbed my should, pulling me around untill my eyes met his. Man, he was so cute. But all he said was, "Don't talk to her. She turns against everyone who's not cool. And since you're the new kid, she's not gonna like you so much." He warned, turning his body around to the board, trying to not get caught when the teacher came inside. I did the same to. "But is she popular?" I asked. "Only the most popular in school. She knows everyone and what they did. That's why I don't get into trouble. If I had the choice, I would. But with her around, she'll tell everyone my business. Just don't hang around her." He said. "Her name is Tasha.

Little did I know that I would stand up for Jess and be her hero?
