Cassandra looked out of the window, a deep sadness filling the atmosphere of the basement. Across from her (sentient electronics can have genders yolo) the remains of Esmerelda and Sophia, together even in death. Or well, parts of them. Smoke still filled the air, Cassandra almost coughed until she remembered she didn't have lungs, instead she frowned, internally, and mourned the loss of Sophia. And Esmerelda, she's not soulless.
While she and Sophia were just business partners it couldn't stop Cassandra longing for more. And seeing the love Sophia put into Esmerelda every day hurt her right into her processors and she wanted to weep, she and Sophia would never happen now, her burnt remains lying limp. Cassandra was suddenly righteously angry, furious even, at Esmerelda.
Esmerelda killed the (unrequited) love of her life and Cassandra will make her pay....somehow. Sure she's already dead but there must be a way of bringing her back and making her pay for her crimes.
Esmerelda will pay for this with her pain and death, Cassandra will make sure of it. She started wiggling over to the exit to get some help, she can achieve this. She will achieve this. Hopefully there's a helpful laptop mechanic that will listen to a telepathic laptop.
As Cassandra made it to the exit she spared one last look at Sophia and Esmerelda, then left with determination, not noticing that Esmerelda's remains had moved an entire 5 inches from when Cassandra woke up. Or the low humming coming from her...
