BUT YOU CANT
he asks you
you try to speak
he doesnt let you
HE NEVER WILL
he inches closer,
you notice his body is elongating
white light bursts from within him
his sides bulge as grey turns to green
limbs and digits form until
HE IS WHOLE
but you dont notice
he is inches away, his sardine breath,
you can feel it
his pink tongue reaches to your face,
referencing the question he asks you
"DO YOU?"
involuntarily, you reply
"no"
suddenly,
TIMES FLASHES BY
YOU SEE YOUR PLANETS FATE
WHEN MEN WILL BE NO MORE
WHEN THE EARTH IS JUST
SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED
A LONG, LONG TIME AGO
but you awaken,
a time close when you first met HIM
maybe even AFTER
you're not really SURE
but, lets just say
it isnt the human vs robot apocalypse
