Julie's P.O.V

One-Month Later-

Niall and I had our date, which went amazing by the way. He decided to ask me to go steady on our third date, of course I said yes. So I guess we’re dating and so is Destinee and Harry.

But today is my court date, I asked Liam and Zack to come with me and testify.

I'm not really sure if I can do this, but I decide to get up anyways. I rolled out of my bed and went to go jump in the shower. I quickly washed my hair and body before jumping out. I walked over to my closet and pulled out something to wear today. I decided I can't be completely bored and unfashionably so I decided wear a gray jacket, with a maroon shirt with some dark wash skinnies and maroon toms.

"Under the lights tonight, turned around and you stole my heart, just one look and I saw your fa-" I quickly grabbed my phone and accepted the call.

"Hello?" I answered the unknown call.

"Hey Jules." Zayn cooed.

"Hey Zayn." I smiled.

"I was just called to say we were fixing to ship Liam off to your house. Are you sure you don't want anymore company than boring old serious Li-Li?" Zayn asked sweetly.

"Yes I'm sure, plus it won't be more than two or three hours." I rolled my eyes.

"If you’re so sure, and can I ask why Liam looks so fancy?" Zayn prided.

"We have something to do with my grandfather's old house then he's helping me with the apartment." I lied smoothly.

"Oh okay, well good luck. Here's Leeyum." I heard russlings and then Liam.

"I'm fixing to leave, are you ready?" Liam asked sweetly.

"Yeah, but we don't have to go yet." I said confused.

"Yes we do, we have to be there at 10, it's 9:15 right now." Liam explained.

"Oh really? Where did the time go?!" I said as I started to scramble to finish straitening my curly hair.

"I don't know but I'll be there in fifteen minutes. Be ready! Bye Jules!" Liam quickly hung up. I continued to finish to get ready and mentally prepare myself for what's about to happen.

"All rise for Judge Jackson." The police officer boomed. We all stood up as the Judge took his seat. I'm literally shaking.

"Case #3298, Adams V.S. Johnson, “The judge read off a sheet of paper. "What seems to be the problem?" He asked as he fixed his glasses.

"My client is fighting for the custody of Vada Johnson, claiming April Johnson is not suitable for taking care of the child." My lawyer, explained.

"Would Ms. Adams like to take the stand?" Judge Jackson asked.

"Yes, your honor." I said softly as I stood up. The police office came over to escort me to the stand.

"Do you Julie Adams, swear to tell the truth and oblige to nothing but the truth?" The officer asked as he placed a bible under my hand.

"I do." I answered before taking the stand. I saw my mother's lawyer walk over to me before speaking.

"How exactly is she not a fit mother?" He asked. This is going to be a long question...

"My decision, has changed due to Mr. Payne and Mr. William's testimony, I'm giving full custody to Ms. Adams, she seems to have a stable home and job to take care of the child." Judge Jackson said proudly.
