-Prolouge-
When is this going to end?
King Okana thought while wiping beads of sweat off his forehead while kneeling on the top of a hill in front of his kingdom staring at the large gray mass of his enemy's army. King Okana was in the middle of a war that had lasted four days straight, he had over lost nine hundred men in that short period leaving him with only eight hundred, and they were going fast no matter how many magicians they had.
At this rate my kingdom might as well be under the leadership of Nazrom, thought King Okana, this realm might as well be called the Chaos realm. NO, loosing this war is not an option. My beautiful wife, baby daughter, and realm are counting on me to keep them from Chaos. I cannot afford to loose! I will NOT loose!
"CHARGE!" yelled King Okana, jumping up and running down the hill; leading the rest of his army into the depths of the thirsty demons, they were battling.
Macelen; leader of the demons and Nazrom's younger brother, saw what was happening in the safety of his throne on the opposite hill. His army infested with Okana's could hardly fight them off because of their newly found determination. Macelen was astonished how fast Okana had recovered and was in rage because his owns' reaction was to slow, he got up from his throne and slowly made his way to the valley between the two hills where King Okana was already fighting his way to him.
Okana worked his way through the cluster of demons to the enraged Macelen, killing furious thousand pound demons that got in his way. His face was blood stained in his and demon's blood. The armor he wore had a deep dent in the front, making it hard to breath. He had 1or 2 broken ribs, but that did not stop him from protecting what was rightfully his.
Nazrom along with his brother of his, have killed hundreds of people and have burned over a fourth of the villages in this realm. I cannot let him continue to kill people, if I had stopped him sooner I might have saved my parents, and brother. But I will stop him now; I will save the rest of these people!
Okana swung his sword in an arch striking a horned demon with gray skin tough as armor across its chest. A deep green liquid rushed from its skin as it howled in pain. It locked its black eyes on the king and swung its battleaxe. Okana rolled behind it and lunged his sword into its back. The demon fell to the ground dead. Swinging his sword to his left, he caught another demon in the shoulder sending it to the ground from the force of the swing. He continued his way closer to where Macelen was fighting, He fought off another demon as it ran towards him. Okana kneeled and lunged upwards into its chest, and rolled to the right before its large scaled body fell on him. When he stood up, he scanned where he was and cursed himself. He was falling back and Macelen's demons were circling all around him. He would not be able to fight his way through without using magic, and his troops were further back. He cursed again for letting this happen knowing that he would be almost too tired to continue fighting once he released the magic. The thought of saving the innocence of his kingdom darted across his mind, making up his mind. He had to what ever it took to save them. He pointed the tip of his sword to the sky and yelled to the gods.
"EIFRA!"
Dark clouds in the sky began to circle above his head and acid rain began to fall. Demons all around shrieked in pain but continued to fight at once when Macelen barked his own spell protecting them. Lightning began to shoot down towards the ground around King Okana and to the tip of his sword, making the sword almost impossible to hold on to, but Okana held on. Demons around him backed away from the King has he slowly moved forward, the sword a glowing white from heat and flashing every now and again with lightening. Pointing the sword to Macelen's chest, that was now 15 feet away, he lunged towards his heart. Okana was almost close enough to pierce Macelen when a huge demon lunged at him and pinned him to the ground. The sudden attack shocked Okana making him loose his grip on his sword. As it fell to the ground, lightning pierced the ground continually. Smoke rose from the ground blinding everybody. King Okana shoved the demon that was pinning him to the ground off, grabbed his sword, and ran towards Macelen. As soon as Macelen saw what he was doing, he lunged at King Okana. Okana felt an excruciating stab of pain in his chest. Looking down he noticed he had let his anger lead him right into Death's sword without thinking. With Macelen not relieving him of the sword, Okana prayed quietly in his head that he would not die.
