Ever since you and Grayson moved to LA, you'd always get up early and go have adventures and such. Like for instance, every Friday you guys would go hiking to the Hollywood sign at night. The view never fails to amaze both of you, how the city glows and the stars shine, it was just so breathtaking.
You were both getting ready to leave, "Grayson, Hurry uppppp" you yelled. He didn't reply, 'what's taking him so long' you thought. You quietly walked to the other room he was getting ready in and you peaked from the side of the door, you saw him talking quietly on the phone with someone. You raised an eyebrow in confusion, 'who's he talking to?' You waited till he finished talking on the phone and hang up before you enter the room. "Grayson, come on its already 9:50" you said, waking in like you didn't hear anything. He turned around quickly, startled. "Jeez, haven't you heard of knocking?" He said, in a joking way, you roll your eyes playfully and grab the ends of your shirt and bow down to him. "I'm sorry, your highness" you said in a sarcastic way. He chuckles and runs his fingers through his hair real quick. "Okay, I'm ready" he said, grabbing the car keys. You smile, and walk back downstairs with him following behind. You open the door and walk outside to Grayson's car, he unlocks it and you get inside. He eventually gets in the drivers seat and starts the car engine before driving out of the parking space.
*skip car ride*
You finally reached your destination, so you both get out of the car and he makes sure he locked it before you two start hiking up to the HollyWood sign.
Usually you'd see people hiking up with you two as well, but today..it was just you and Grayson.
"So quiet" Grayson said, as he noticed how no one was hiking in this beautiful night. "I know right, it's strange how no ones hiking today" you commented. He nodded and kept walking, lightly rubbing the back of his neck. You noticed that Grayson wasn't really himself today, as he's also awfully quiet. Every once in a while he'd rub the back of his neck, run his fingers through his hair or play with the ring on his finger. He seemed nervous about something..but you knew if you asked him he wouldn't tell you so you shrugged it off. As you were getting close to the sign, you noticed him stop. "shit, I dropped my iPod on our way up here" he said looking at me, wide eyed. "Oh, well then let's go back and g-" you were cut off by Grayson, shaking his head. "No, you go up there, I'll catch up." He said and you just purse your lips, and raise an eyebrow. "O....kay" you stated almost like you're asking. He flashed you a smile before he turned around and went back down. You sighed and continued to go up, until you finally reached it 10-15 minutes later. "Ah my legs are killing me" you mumbled. You were too busy taking a breath, while massaging your leg that you haven't noticed the amazing picnic set up in front of you with what seemed was small candles around the place. "What's all this?" You asked practically no one. You walked closer, admiring how everything looked so romantic. You were looking at the small candles when something caught your eye, a phone that was on top of the picnic basket, with a small paper with your name on it. You raised an eyebrow, bending down to grab the phone off the basket, and you put down the paper and the phone was open. 'What?' You thought. Suddenly a video opened up once you unlocked the phone. You found yourself starting the video anyway without any thought. Suddenly, Grayson's face popped up.
"Y/N, You do not know how many times I thank god that you have walked in my life from that day we met in New York. I remember that one time when I bumped into you when I was on my way back to the hotel, And I almost spilled Apple juice on your favourite sweater, even tho you made fun of me later on about how I love apple juice but I didn't care at all. Every time I see that beautiful smile of yours, all my troubles and worries go away. I swear I sometimes think that you're an angel in disguise. I'm so lucky to have you, Y/N. You have no idea how happy you make me. Thank you for being there for me when I had no one, you were there for me at my worst, my best moments and that means so much to me. But now. I just have one thing to ask you Y/N.." You just looked at the video as it just stopped, feeling your heart pumping faster. You felt a hand on your shoulder and you quickly turn around to see, Grayson. You noticed that he changed his clothes, as he's now in a suit. He got down on one knee, and your hand flew up to your mouth in shock as you couldn't believe what was happening.
"Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N, will you make me the happiest goof alive and marry me?" He said, opening a small red box. Tears were streaming down your face, you opened your mouth to speak but nothing came out, so all you did was nod. "Yes?" He asked and you nodded again, smiling. "YES!" He said standing up and wrapping his arms around you so tightly and you did the same, crying on his shoulder tears of joy. He leaned back a little to see your face and he had the biggest smile on his and you did too, he wipes away the tears with his thumb before pressing his lips onto yours. you kiss back, wrapping your arms around his neck as his were around your waist. He leans back, so you two could catch your breathe and he lifts you up and spins you around, you were giggling as he just laughed. He sets you down back on the ground, grabbing the ring from the box and placing it on your ring finger. You couldn't help but admire how it was sparkling under the stars. You look up at Grayson, your fiancé. At first you thought it sounded weird but you might as well get used to it.
"This is where we finally start our new life together.." Grayson, said looking down at you. You couldn't help but smile, "And I couldn't be any more happier that it's you I get to spend
the rest of my life with." You said and he smiled before placing his lips on yours once again <3
