"Y/N!" You heard someone yell by the bathroom door. "WHAT?" You yell back.
"GET OUT OF THE BATHROOM I HAVE TO GET READY!" Your brother yells. You sigh, rolling your eyes before looking at your reflection one last time. You were getting ready to go out with your friend to the mall, apparently there's this HUUGE sale happening at (Your Favorite Store) so you asked your friend to come with. "Y/NNNN!" Your brother yells. "JUST A SEC, Y/B/N!" You yell. You apply the last touch of makeup on your face and unlock the door, with your makeup bag and clothes in hand. You open the door to see a grumpy-looking Y/B/N.
"Took you long enough" he says, pushing you out of the way so he can get into the bathroom. You roll your eyes and walk back to your room.
As soon as you walk inside your room, your phone rings

Heyyyy Y/N heyyyy!
Hey Y/F/N, What's up?
Waiting for you to get ready. Girl I'm outside now let's gooooo!
Before you could reply, she already hung up the phone. You rush to put on your shoes and grab your bag. You go downstairs, heading to the door. "Mom I'm leaving now! Be back in 3-4 hours" you yell, and wait for your mom to reply. "Okay sweetie, have fun!" She yells back. You open the door, and head outside. You spot your friends car and she honks. "Hurry up" she says, still honking. You chuckle, opening the car door and get in, closing it once you're inside.

After shopping with your friend, you guys ate together before she dropped you off in front of your house, and drove off. As you walk up to the porch, you noticed there was a car parked outside of your house which you do not recognize who it belongs to. You open the door and walk in, closing it behind you. You take off your shoes and place it by the door.
You head to your room, hearing your brother laughing out loud on your way. "What a weirdo" you mumble, closing your door midway. Your brothers door opens before you could close yours. "Dude where's the bathroom?" You see a boy standing by your brothers door. You peak your head out from the small gap of the door. "Down the hallway, on the right" you hear your brother reply. He turns around, his eyes on the ground before he shifted his eyes up and they landed on you. You accidentally close the door on your head, and curse under your breath before quickly closing the door. You sigh in relief.
You couldn't help but feel butterflies in your stomach, you knew he probably doesn't know you and it was just a single glance and it didn't mean anything, but apparently to you, it meant more than nothing. You have a crush on your brothers friend. You wait a couple of minutes before opening the door once again, and see if he's still there. Oh thank god he's not there. You close the door, and grab your phone. You sent a text to your brother. "Next time, warn me when you're bringing one of your friends over". You wait for a reply, as you see that he read your text, but he never did. You roll your eyes and close your phone.

Couple of hours have passed and your brother and his friend are still in his room, and you're afraid to go outside. You decided to lay down on your bed while playing music on your phone. Suddenly out of no where your stomach starts to grumble. You were hungry.
"Shit" you mumble, getting up and heading down stairs to the kitchen. You walk in and walk straight to the fridge, not paying attention to anything around you as you grab a can of Coke and a slice of cold pizza. You close the fridge and see him standing there, searching for something in the cabinets. "Need help there?" You ask, assuming he needs help. He turns around and looks at you, rubbing the back of his neck. "Uh, yea. Where's the snacks cabinet?" He asked awkwardly. You walk over to him and hand him your pizza and drink to hold, which he replies with a confused expression. You turn to the cabinet you're very familiar of and open it, revealing what he's looking for. "Thanks" he said, flashing you a smile. You couldn't help but smile back.
"No problem." You reply. He hands you back your drink, and you take it. "So uh what's your name?" He asks. "Y/N. Yours?" You ask. "Ethan" he replies. "Nice to meet you, Ethan" you put your hand out, assuming he'd hand you back your pizza. He puts his hand in yours and shakes your hand "nice to meet you too, Y/N" he says. "Um. I kinda extended my hand out for um..my pizza" you said, awkwardly. And he looks at the pizza slice in his hand before realizing. "Oh! Sorry" he says before handing it back to you. You laugh "no worries" you say, taking the pizza out of his hand. "ETHAN WHATS TAKING YOU SO LONG!?" Your brother yells from the staircase. "GOT LOST SORRY MAN." Ethan yells backs. "Better get going now. My brothers quite bossy when it comes to snacks" you say, looking at the snack cabinet before looking at Ethan. "Yea. Well it was nice talking to you, Y/N. See ya later?" He says, more like a question. "See ya" you wave your hand awkwardly before leaving the kitchen and heading upstairs.
You close the door behind you and smile to yourself. What just happened?
Couple of hours have passed after that incident down in the kitchen and Ethan went back home. You walk back down stairs around 2 AM and head to the kitchen to grab another slice of pizza from the fridge. You open the box and you find a small crumbled up paper in there. Confused, you grab the paper and open it.
"Cheesiest place to leave my phone number but I really do wanna see you again. Text me? *his phone number*"
You smile, before shoving the paper in your pocket and grabbing the last pizza slice and head upstairs.
After that you and Ethan have been texting each other nonstop. Let's just hope that your brother doesn't find out you have a crush on his best friend.
