FORTY-TWO

After awhile of waiting, Min Go has arrived. They greet him and sneak out from the emergency stairs. Straight to his office. Min Go locked his door and covered up the curtains so that no one will see them. They settled down and begin.

"I thought that you don't want anyone to know about this." Min Go said after he saw Dae Joon were beside Yoo In. Yoo In smile at him. "He can be trusted unless he want to be kill by me." She glare at Dae Joon who was smiling cheekily to her. Min Go let out a chuckle and took out a fail. Yoo In felt her heartbeat getting faster. Min Go face turned into a dead serious expression. Yoo In and Dae Joon looked at each other. Her hands is sweating very hard. Dae Joon held her hands and flashed a comforting smile to her. Min Go took out some papers in it and read it for awhile before he hand it out to Yoo In. She took it and read it slowly. Analyzing the words one by one as her tears starts to form in her eyes. She looked at Min Go. He nodded. Sighed.

After meeting Min Go, they went to the cafe that they meet up before. Sitting at the same place. Dae Joon were ordering some drinks for them while Yoo In were spacing out at their place. Looking the snowflakes fall from the sky. No emotions. She didn't know whether she can make it through the Christmas this year.

Flashback

"So, less than 5 months?" She said. Min Go slowly nodded at her. Tears starts to fall over her cheeks. It's a cancer. Stage 4. The last stage. Well, it's a brain cancer. Dae Joon caressed her back. "Isn't there any ways to cure it?" He asked. Min Go shook his head. "It's too late. The cancer had spread around." He stated. Yoo In took a deep breath. She doesn't know what to do anymore. Another 5 months or maybe less. "I'm so sorry, Yoo In." Min Go apologized to her. Yoo In shook her head. "No, it's okay. Not your fault." She stood up and leave the office. Dae Joon thanked Min Go and followed Yoo In.

Yoo In was walking through the hallway. No one was there. Well, the visiting time is paused for awhile and it'll start back later. Dae Joon trailed behind her. Slowly. Yoo In were sobbing. Then she suddenly knelt down. Dae Joon quickly went to her. "I'm dying, Dae Joon." The words stabbed on his heart. He can't stand to see the girl he loves cried like that. He gave her a comforting hug. Yoo In cried hysterically. "I'm dying~ Why is this happening to me?" She cried. Dae Joon caressed her back. "Shh, come on. Let's go to the cafe. You need to calm down." He said as he stood Yoo In up. Her knees wobbled so Dae Joon held her shoulder to stabilize her. And then went to the cafe.

End of Flashback

"Yoo In~" Dae Joon already call her for a several times. She snapped out and looked at him. He hand a hot cappuccino to her. She flashed a weak smile and stared at the cappuccino blankly. "Are you okay?" He asked. Yoo In nodded and smile at him. "Don't worry. I know you're strong enough for this." He tried to encourage her. Tears starts to form in her eyes back. "I'm not strong, Dae Joon. I'm dying." She murmured in her sob. She cupped her face in tears. "No, Yoo In. You're strong enough. Don't feel it like you're dying. Think about your family. BTS. Friends. Me. You said you want to make them happy but in this condition of yours, do you think you can? Do you think they can be happy seeing you crying like this? Do you think I like to see you crying like this? No, Yoo In. If I can change the facts in this world, I would like to change the facts that you're sick. Let the pain transferred to me. I don't care about being sick as long as you're fine. You're happy. But no. The pain is not mine but it's yours. Now tell me, will you do the same thing that I said just now?" He blurted it out. Yoo In were stunned to the words. She never thought that Dae Joon were this courageous. She hug him. "I'll try my best." She said. Dae Joon smile and hug her back.

The time flies so fast. Dae Joon walks Yoo In home since he was scared that if she would do something silly. Well, Yoo In capable to do anything without a single thing can stop her. As they arrived, Dae Joon bid a goodbye to her and went back home. She closed the door. "Home alone again." She exclaimed. It's still to early though ao she doesn't know what she want to do. She looked at the clock. "5 hours before works end." She said. She then went upstairs and take warm bath. She stay in the bathtub for a long time. Staring at the walls blankly. Sighed. Then she went out and wore her clothes. Simple clothes though. A leggings and an oversized hoodie  since it's kinda cold out there. She sit on the couch. Stare at the TV. Not wanting to open it. Then the papers went into her minds. "Less than 5 months to live." She muttered. Sighed. She need to plan something so that she can makes people around her happy. She looked around and got an idea. "Since it's still early, let's get start with Kim Seok Jin." She took her phone and call him.

"Kim Seok Jin, I don't want to hear your voice or anything. Come straight to my house. Alone or I'll kill myself."

She quickly hung up before Jin could say anything. After about 30 minutes of waiting, Jin arrived. He ring the bell. Yoo In opened the door. "You're late." She said. Looking furiously at Jin. "I'm sorry. I had to made thousands of excuses to come here you know." He protest. Yoo In smile at him. "Awh, poor you. Come in." She invite him and sit on the couch. "What's with the popcorn and chips? Oh, blanket too?" He asked as he took a seat beside Yoo In. "I just want to have some movies with you. Come on. Get in the blanket now." Jin shrugged his shoulder and quickly get in the blanket.

They laughed at the scene so happily while eating the popcorn. And after that was a kissing scene, they kept quiet and just watch it awkwardly. Jin took a little glance at Yoo In. So does she. Their bodies were too close to each other though. Then Yoo In close it. "Why did you close it?" Jin protest. He want to watch until the end. "Why? It's my TV so my right to close it or not." She scoffed as she was about to stand up but Jin grabbed her wrist and pulled it. Making her stumble on the couch and lay down. Jin were slowly leaned above her and kiss her lips. Just like the scene in the TV just now. Yoo In kissed him back. She slowly wrapped her arms on his neck and went into a deep kiss with him. Jin broke the kiss and they pant for some air. They looked each other. "So you want that kiss? That's the reason why you mad at me when I closed it." She muttered. Jin smile sheepishly to her and just continue to kiss her back. Until that state, Yoo In felt a pair of hand were trying to unhook her bra. Yoo In squeeze Jin's shirt in order to make him stop what he was doing but at the same time she doesn't want to break the kiss. Jin were too busy to unhooking her bra until he accidentally bite Yoo In's lower lips. Yoo In winced a little. Blood start to coming out from her lips. "Ah~ I'm sorry." He apologized. Yoo In touched her lips and saw some blood on it. "Nah~ It's okay." They sit up. Jin looked at her. "Seriously, Yoo In. I'm really sorry. I-I..." Yoo In cut him. "I told you it's okay. I'm fine." She said. Jin felt guilty to her so he leaned in and suck the blood on her lips. Then he broke it. "Hope that'll make your lip better." He said. Yoo In giggled at him and looked at the clock. "Oh, it's almost time. You should go back now. It's getting late. The boys must be suspicious to you." She said as they stood up and went to the door. "Okay and I'm sorry for lips again. Thank you, Yoo In." He planted a kiss on her temple and bid a goodbye to her. She closed the door and clean up everything.

She went upstairs, clean up and wear her pajama. Then she went down back and waited for her family to come home. She kept replaying what had happened just now. 'I never thought it would end like that. I sound like a player right now.' She heaved a sigh. Deep sigh. She leaned back on the couch. She felt her eyelids were so heavy that she dozed off.
