Chica's POV
What the hell is happening?!

"Come on!" (Y/n) said.

"Where too?" I asked.

"To that cupcake." She said, pointing to the cupcake on a platform.

"But why are we-"

"Trust me. We will need that cupcake." She said.

"Oh um, okay?" I said, trusting her.

We walked over to the platform and jumped over a small gap to actually get on it. (Y/n) bent over and grabbed the cupcake. She examined the cupcake and mumbled things like 'Will this be a substitute to a cake..?' and 'There should be a hidden wall somewhere then...'

I started to carefully examine the area and noticed another platform down the gap.

"(Y/n)! Look over here!" I exclaimed.

She looked over and without hesitation she jumped down the gap and on the next platform.

"(Y/n)! Are you insane?! We didn't even check it out yet! We don't know what's down there!" I panicked.

"Calm down Chica. Look. I'm not dead, right? Now don't be a chicken and get down here!" She called out.

"I can't help it!" I said before jumping down. "I am one." I replied, smiling cheekily.

She rolled her eyes as she looked down. "Look." She said pointing down.

I gasped as I looked down. There were so many children crying. I wanted to help them somehow. Wait...

"Let's give them the cupcake! That'll cheer them up!" I suggest happily.

But as I looked at (Y/n) she didn't seem to be listening. She wasn't even looking at me! She was looking at another platform but there was nothing there. Just a wall.

"(Y/n)? Hello? Anybody there?" I said, waving my hand in front of her face.

"Look at the wall. Do you see an exit?" She asked.

"That's ridiculous! Have you completely lost your mind?! Why would there be an exit in a wal-?"

But then I looked closer. I don't know why but I feel like there was some sort of secret exit. I looked even closer. It seemed to be like a hallucination as if the wall wasn't there but it was there... As if the wall was almost...

... Transparent...

(Y/n) then jumped to that platform and I followed. I looked at the wall and curiosity got the best of me and I touched it. My hand slipped through. I gasped as I quickly pulled my hand away.

"I knew it!" (Y/n) exclaimed before going through the wall then completely disappearing in it.

"(Y/n)!" Panic started to rise as she didn't respond.

After a few quick seconds of thinking I decided to finally pass through the wall to find (Y/n). I slowly touched the wall at let my hand slip through, then my arm, then the rest of me. I closed my eyes as I slipped into the other side of the wall and landed safely. I opened my eyes and saw her starring at the end of the room. I followed her gaze and saw what she was looking at.

A crying child.

The child was crying hard as she covered her face with her hands. The child's skin was a ghostly white, her hair was tied up in a pigtails style, and had pitch black eyes with white pupils. As I stared the child looked at me and our eyes met then...

SNAP!

I suddenly felt a connection with the child. I suddenly felt like I knew the pain the child was feeling. I felt like crying too. An unhappy soul, seeking to get away from the pain... Like me and my friends... To find happiness, joy, peace, love.

To be as free as balloons...

Then the child continued to weep as I walked to (Y/n)'s side, holding back tears.

"(Y/n). The cupcake, please." I asked, extending my arm out.

"Chica..." She smiled and handed me the cupcake.

I took the cupcake as I took a deep breath. I turned back to the child and started to walk over to her. As I was almost by her side she looked at me and gasped.

"Pl-please don't h-h-hurt me!" She pleaded with a raspy voice, waving her arms in front of her as she back up against the wall in fear.

I smiled systematically as I stood in front of her. I bent down to her eye level, knelt down, and started to rub her back. She looked up at me, shocked.

"I wouldn't hurt you. Don't be afraid" I said in a hush voice as I continued to rub her back.

"Re... Really?" She asked, hesitantly.

"Really." I said.

She then enveloped me in a tight hug as she continued to sob. I hugged back as I stroke her hair.

"Shhhhh... It's okay sweetie. I'm hear now." I said, quietly as she continued to cry.

(Y/n) then joined me by my side and started hugging her too, tears in her eyes. I couldn't hold it back either so tears started streaming down my face. (Y/n) let go and knelt down properly.

"What's the matter?" (Y/n) asked as she slightly calmed down.

"Me and m-my fr-fr-friends were k-killed by a-a bad ma-man..." She replied in between sniffles, not letting go of the embrace.

"You know, me and my friends were murdered by a bad man too." I said.

"Really?" She asked.

"Really."

She started to rub her eyes, try to dry the tears.

"Here." I let go and handed over the cupcake to the little child spirit.

She smiled and got the cupcake.
"For... Me?"

"All just for you." (Y/n) answered, rubbing her back.

She looked at me and (Y/n) and her smile widened a little bit as she started to eat the cupcake. I watched happily as she smile start to grow happily.

As soon as she finished her last bite she started to glow. She glowed brighter and brighter as she started to float. She looked at me and (Y/n), still smiling.

"Thank you..." She whispered.

But she looked back at me.

"Especially you miss. I finally found someone who finally understands me." She said as she started to float away.

Tears were streaming down my eyes. I suddenly felt so happy. Like I could fly away with this child spirit. I never got her name.

"Wait! What's your name?" I asked before she disappeared.

She looked back and smiled once more.

"My name is Charlotte. But my friends call me Chica."

Before I could react everything went black.
