Chapter Nine

Kist's point of view

"Lee, it's been a long time," Oh God, how does he keep his cool after seeing me like this? Ang kapal talaga ng mukha nitong lalakeng to.

"Hey, how are you?" Lee asked as they greeted each other with a kiss on the cheek. I started rolling my eyes.

"And who's this beautiful girl standing right beside you?" he asked. How fake can you be?

"Right. She's Kist, my best friend," Lee said as she push me towards that Walter Araneta guy.

"I know him,"I said.

"Wait, you knew him?" Lee asked.

"Yes, of course. She's the only heir of her father's company and the only owner of this mall," I said.

"She's clever," Walter said. Just shut up.

I started walking a little far from them. I can't stand talking to that guy. He's such a faker.

"Right. I'll see you tomorrow," I said to Lee without looking back and just wave my hand.

"Why not now?" a guy from the back said. Not him again. I look back to see his only face. Where's the guys wearing some tuxedo? Where's Lee? I crept out. How can they be so fast like that?

I look for my phone and send a text to Lee. My phone beep not so long and it's from Lee she said she wanted to take a quality time with Walter and said that Walter is a great guy blah blah. Lee, if you just know that he's the guy I spent my night with. I sighed.

"I am not talking to you. Where's my best friend? Where's your freaky business partners? Where are they?" I asked rapidly.

"They're gone and we will be seeing today I mean right now. You will enjoy, I promise." he announced.

"Who says?" I asked and started walking as fast as I can. He keeps on tailing me.

"I said, the only owner of the tile you are stepping right at this moment. Stop walking too fast, hey," he kept on talking and talking.

"Could you please stop following me, couldn't you? Is that how you treat your customers here in your mall?" I asked, still walking fast.

"It's just you I'm treating like this," he said.

"So you think it's my pleasure to be treated like this?" I asked and entered an arcade.

"Hey wait, how dare you to run from a millionaire like me?" he said as he lean on the kicking board on one of the machine here in the arcade where I stop. She's panting so hard as if he just ran a kilometer.

"Get off before I'll kick someone right at this moment," I said so he walk far from the kicking board.

"Ohh,"

Something came to my mind to keep this guy off from my face. Something that's really scary and something that could make a face dislocate from its places.

"You really wanted a day with me, badly?" I asked.

"Who says?" he asked.

"Fine. Let's play a game. If I hit this kicking board and the score will reach 200, you will leave me alone but if didn't reach 200, I'll give my day to you, just one day," I said. "Deal?"

"Hah! Akala mo naman kung gaano kaganda tong batang to. Fine. Kahit napipilitan lang ako, sige pagbibigyan kita ng date kung gusto mo. Kahit napipilitan lang talaga ako. I'm just being a man here, and I don't want you be embarrassed by not accepting your deal so fine! I'll give you my day, deal," he said really and extremely arrogantly.

"Napipilitan? So fine, stop bothering me. I'm living my life here," I was about to walk when he grabbed me by his hand.

"You are not going anywhere, may deal pa tayong dapat tapusin," he said. I laughed because of his pride. Ayaw pang sabihin ng diretso eh.

"Fine, let's make it faster then," I said so I positioned myself and get ready for my kick. But my inside is keeping her naughtiness.

"Could you please go there," I signaled him to stay behind the kicking board enough for me to kick his face. I am just so ready to kick him in the face. Uto-Uto pala tong isang to eh.

"One....Two..... Three---hi-ya!" Oh God, NO.

When my foot was about to land on his face he suddenly hold unto it and tap the kicking board with his hand.

"Tsk tsk, you and your dirty trick," he said and released my foot.

"Hey, why did you tap that?" I aksed.

"Well, you should thank me for doing that. Your foot never lands on the board but instead, it's about to hit my wonderful face. You are obviously cheating and by that, you will be wasting your time with me," he announced.

NO WAY.
