Rebekah's phone rang, a loudly ringtone. She groped with her hand on her nightstand trying to find her mobile. When she had find her phone she sat up in her bed and answered the phone.
"Hi Stefan!" Rebekah said into the phone.
"Hi Rebekah." A short break was heard from Stefan. "I just wonder if you would like to go out on dinner with me tonight."
A big smile was seen on Rebekah's face. "Of course I want!"
"Good, I'll pick you up by seven." Stefan said on the other line.
"Okey, see you then." Rebekah said and hung up.
Rebekah went out of her bed and went to the bathroom. She took a long warm shower. Then she decided to call Caroline, they hadn't speak for a long time. She actually didn't know why they hadn't spoke for such a long time. When Rebekah had put on some clothes she called Caroline.
"Rebekah!" Caroline answered surprised. "It's been a while."
"Yes, it has. I don't really know why. But that's why we must catch up a little bit. Do you want to sleep over tomorrow or something?" Rebekah asked.
"Yes, that sounds nice. We can sleep at my house, my mom are not going to be home tomorrow." Caroline said.
"Okey, we'll say so. See you tomorrow." Rebekah hung up.

The clock was 6:03 pm. Rebekah looked for something nice to wear at her date with Stefan. When she had picked clothes she went down to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. She drank a few sips then she put down the coffee cup. Out on the green lawn a girl stood. The girl had black clothes and red-blonde hair, tacked in a high ponytail. Rebekah vamp speeded out to the spot where the girl had stood but she was gone.
"Rebekah!" Rebekah turned around and saw Stefan. She vamp speeded towards him.
"What were you doing there?" Stefan asked.
"I thought I saw a girl but when I got out she wasn't there. Maybe I just imagined." Rebekah said.
"Yes, maybe you did. But now we are going out on dinner." Stefan smiled and took Rebekah's hand.

The waitress showed Stefan and Rebekah to their table. It was a little table at the big panoramic windows. The table was set with a white cloth and a purple candle in the middle. They sat down at the table. After a while they got in their first course and they started to eat.
"About yesterday." Stefan said and looked at Rebekah. "I'm not.."
"I hope that you're not mad at me because I made you forget in 1879." Rebekah interrupted.
"I was just gonna tell you, I'm not mad at you. I understand why you did it and I'm glad that you made me remember." Stefan smiled at Rebekah.
"Oh, okey, good." Rebekah smiled back.
They continued to eat. The evening float by fast, it was already very dark outside and Stefan and Rebekah got into their desserts. This had been a very nice date Rebekah thought. But then Rebekah got a little scared. Outside the big panoramic windows, on the other side of the road, there stood the red-blonde girl again. But this time she wasn't alone, next to her a guy stood, he was about a head longer than the girl, had black clothes like the girl and he had brown hair.
"S-Stefan." Rebeckah stammered and pointed out at the unknown girl. "That's the girl that I saw at the mansion."
Stefan stood up and went out of the restaurant. Rebekah saw Stefan go over the road then she ran after him. When she came to Stefan and the spot where the girl and the guy had stood, they were gone.. again.
"I-I swear, I saw the girl and and a guy.." Rebekah stammered.
"I know, I believe you Rebekah. I just wonder who they are." Stefan said confused.
