You Don't Need The Curse // Stebekah

Chapter 6

Rebekah knocked on the door which led into Caroline's house. She heard light footsteps from inside the house, then Caroline oppened the door.

"Caroline!" Rebekah let go of all her things.

"Rebekah! I've missed you so!" They both hugged each other.

Rebekah picked up her grey bag and her big pillow from the ground and walked into the house.

"So, how is it going with Nik? Is he still drooling over you?" Rebekah asked Caroline.

"I don't know, doesn't seem like it, maybe he's over me."  Caroline sat down on the couch. 

"I don't think he's over you, he maybe just.. making some space because he knows that you're not so into him." Rebekah sat down next to Caroline on the couch.

"Yeah, maybe. But now over to you, a little bird whispered to me that you where on a date with Stefan yesterday." Caroline said with a big smirk on her face. "How did it go?"

"It went good:" Rebekah smiled. "We ate dinner, it was nice." 

"I'm glad that he asked you out, I know how much you like him." Caroline said and Rebekah blushed a little.

"But before Stefan picked me up a weird thing happend." Rebekah explained all about the mysterious girl and boy that she had seen ouside the mansion and outside the restaurant on the date.

"Weird." Caroline frowned. "But, what do you say, are we gonna watch a movie?"

Caroline and Rebekah sat cuddled up with blankets and pillows on the couch, each with a Ben & Jerry's jar in their hands. They watched a horror movie and was on the edge all the time. Then Rebekah's phone started to ring. They both jumped a little bit in the couch. 

"Oh my god!" Caroline screamed and paused the movie.

"Relax, it's only Stefan." Rebekah picked up her phone and answered. "Hi Stefan. What's up?" 

"Hi Rebekah. I just wanted to tell you...."

"What did he tell you?" Caroline asked when Rebekah had hung up.

"He and Damon was in the wood behind their house and they found a body, a dead body. It had been stabbed with a wooden stake. It was a vampire." Rebekah explained to Caroline what Stefan had said.

"Oh my god! Do you think we have to be worried?" Caroline looked a little scared.

"Don't think so, but let's not think about it now." Rebekah started the movie again.

The movie was almost at the end. Rebekah saw something reflect in the tv and looked behind her. Outside the window the mysterious girl and boy stood and looked at them.

"Oh my god!" Rebekah stood up.

"What is it?" Caroline turned around in the couch.

"That's the weird girl and guy I talked about." Rebekah said scared and pointed on them.

Caroline vamp speeded outside the door. 

"Wait Caroline!" Rebekah vamp speeded after Caroline but when she got out she didn't see her. Then she heard a loud scream coming from the back of the house, it sounded like Caroline.

"Caroline!" Rebekah screamed and vamp speeded to the back of the house but Caroline wasn't there, nobody was there. Caroline had disappeared.

Tears burned behind Rebekah's eyelids. What was happening?
