What is it like to live each day knowing that it might be the last? For some, perhaps, they worry too much about the future to appreciate the present. For me, each new day has been literally a present. A dying man like me had accepted that I might not wake up to witness the majestic sun, and that the pale moon might be the last thing I'll see before I close my eyes. Acceptance was the key, and fate had been very kind to me till now. For so long I had lived with a dying heart and equally sensitive skin. To say that I am special was an understatement, I was beyond that medically speaking; a rare birth of 1 in a million with multiple congenital defect. But my history is of no importance to you; heck my mere existence have no meaning to you but let me tell you how you've made leaving very difficult.

...

"Sungyeol what is it like to study at a university?" Sunggyu asked his brother, one lazy Saturday afternoon. His brother looked at him with bright eyes and wide smile. "It's fun hyung! there are a lot of people and different faces to meet." Sungyeol muttered with high spirits and Sunggyu ruffled the brother's hair. "You still look like a kindergarten!" Sunggyu muttered which earned a pout from the younger. "Hyung, I'm a college student now!" Sungyeol protested but Sunggyu would never drop the idea that his younger brother still looks like a kindergarten student. "You'll always look like a Choding to me Sungyeol!" Sunggyu muttered.

They were brothers and Sungyeol had admired the older for being strong despite the illness that he had been fighting. "I envy you hyung!" Sungyeol muttered as they sat on the living room sofa, Sunggyu was playing chess with a 10 year old maknae Sungjong. "You envy me for what?" Sunggyu asked as Sungjong tackled Sungyeol with a hug. "For being strong." Sungyeol muttered and Sunggyu joined Sungjong in hugging the middle child. "I'm not, Sungyeol, but seeing you both makes me strong!" Sunggyu muttered and the three brothers ended up laughing, such a tie that will never be broken.

Then there came a time when Sungyeol asked the older about a serious personal issue, "Hyung, I think I'm falling in love." Sungyeol muttered, worry evident in his voice. Sunggyu looked up to him from the book that he was reading. "What's wrong with it?" Sunggyu asked and Sungyeol took a seat on the armchair where Sunggyu was seated. "It's a guy." Sungyeol blurted out and Sunggyu gave the younger a laugh. "Hyung seriously" Sungyeol protested and Sunggyu took his hand and gave it a squeeze. "Well, tell me who's the lucky guy! I mean if you are expecting me to hate you for liking another guy then you are mistaken. I don't see anything wrong with it, It's a free country, well almost free country." Sunggyu muttered and Sungyeol beamed a smile at the older. "I want you to see him! well at least at a safe distance. I don't want you spilling the beans." Sungyeol muttered and Sunggyu nodded. They'll be stalkers for a while.

Sunggyu found himself dressed in casual clothes and wearing a face mask as he accompanied the Directors's son at the university. It was one of the rare cases of Sunggyu wandering out into the world, since his parents would allow a walking time bomb to explore. Sungyeol had been careful not to let his brother's identity slip since the world knew nothing about Sunggyu, only a handful of trusted family friends knew of his existence; They wouldn't want Sunggyu to be pressured into marriages and handling the family business due to his congenital condition so they let everyone know that their eldest was Sungyeol. They walked into the lsh open field and saw so many young students wandering the campus, it was something spectacular to Sunggyu. "Wait here hyung, I'll just talk to a few friends." Sungyeol said as he led his brother into an empty bench. THe older nodded as he sat down then Sungyeol came running to a group of students taking up the same course as he does.
