"SHOOT!"

My hot coffee spilled on to my dress as the car jolted to a stop.  I winced as the coffee rolled down my legs.  Then I sighed.  "Scourgify"

The coffee stain disappeared.  I smiled, my black skinny jeans were clean once again.

"Time to go, hun," my mother said, as she turned around in her seat.  I nodded, and climbed the door of our Aston Martin Vanquish and popped open the trunk, grabbing my trunks and my owl, placing them on the trolley that was parked so conviently by the car.

I looked around and sighed.  I couldn't believe I was actually attending Hogwarts this year.  HOGWARTS... I shook my head in disgust, then smirked as I thought of all the trouble I had caused at my previous school, Durmstrang.  I could tell already that this year was going to be a blast, my mind prioritizing all the mischief I would cause as soon as I entered the school grounds.

My mother, having gotten out of the car, turned to look at me and sighed.

"No pranks."

I looked at her innoncently, but she didn't buy it.  She smacked the back of my head and I winced.

"No pranks, no skipping classes, no fighting.  If you need anything, just talk to Severus or Draco. I'm sure they'll help you dear."  My mother kissed the top of my head, and returned the Vanquish.

I grimaced.  Draco.  Draco Malfoy.  My worst enemy, yet he was my best friend.  He had been the one to tell my mother about all the trouble I had caused at Durmstrang, probably to get back at me for telling Uncle Lucius about how he had cheated on an exam.

But then again, it would be fun, to see how much trouble we could make, the two of us together.

I chuckled to myself as I walked through the barrier, reaching the platform of 9 3/4.  I looked around.  People were milling about, bragging loudly about their summer vacations.  I shook my head disdainfully.  As I lifted my trunks and my owl into an empty compartment, collapsing on a bench by the window.

My owl hooted, flapping her wings gently as I looked up towards her.  She was a beautiful white spotted owl, who had a tendency to nip hard on your fingers if she was ignored for too long.  I called her Lunna, after the moon.

I was thinking about how my life would be the same at Hogwarts, as it was in Durmstrang (boring, tiresome, anything with the same meaning), when the compartment door slid open.

I walked into a seemingly empty compartment on the train.  Sighing, I looked out the window, then down at the picture drawn on my mirror.  I stared at the image for a while, trying to catch a glimpse of the reflection behind it.  It wasn't working.  I sighed, thinking about my sister.  She was SO annoying!  She KNEW that this was my favourite mirror.. Jeez...
