Falling in love with the babysitter ON HOLD

The break up

I just sat there on the bed. Cradling Baby Grace. Crying. Watching him pack his belongings the presents I bought him the memories we had together. How was I going to cope without Luke.

"I will be back for Grace, and I don't know what your crying about you brought this on yourself!" I didn't really all I did was save Grace from her drunk father. He loved drink more than he loved us.

Luke went to collect his stuff from the bathroom Grace by now was screaming for her daddy. I wasn't going to let him take her though god knows what he'd do to her. He had hit me once before when Grace was born.

He came out and started shouting at me. I'd seen him drunk but not this drunk. I so badly wanted him to just say 'LOL you face baby' but this wasn't going to happen he had made up his mind already he was leaving.

"Taxi now 10 Devan Place" his words slurred.

The taxi arrived and he staggered over I could hear Grace screaming. The taxi pulled away and I fell on the floor crying.

When I finally managed to get myself into the house and calm Grace down I settled down into my cold bed alone I cried myself to sleep. Tomorrow wasn't going to get any easier as I had to find a job and a Babysitter

I was at the minute mart advertising for a Babysitter and a job I hoped it was one that would fit in with Grace and the Babysitter (fingers crossed). It had my phone number and details of Grace who I dropped of at her Play Group. I never knew how stressful being a single mum could be but I wasn't hoping to stay like this for long I hoped to find a new man who didn't drink all our savings away. A nice man who knows how to treat a woman properly or a mature young adult which is me by the way.

By the time I had picked Grace up and got home again it was 3:00 PM and I needed a plan to spend my Friday night. There was only 1 thing I could think of that would cheer me up my fav... "Hello 1 margarita pizza with" I was interrupted

"With extra cheese yes I know April" Bob said

"Thanks Bob and don't forget the nachos"

"Would I ever" he chuckled then put the phone down. Bobs Pizzas were the best even though it was where me and Luke met it cheered me up like nothing else.
