Chapter 2: All I Need

Kacey's POV

        After I ran to Calum I noticed that Janell and Mikey are talking to each other which is pretty awesome. It actually gives me the courage to actually talk to Calum instead of over obsess. "I wonder what their talking about?" Calum says looking at me.

     "I honestly don't know but whatever it is it must a heck conversation because Janell doesn't really talk to people like that" I say while turning and looking back at Calum.  "Oh umm can I ask you something" he said a little concerned. " Yea sure what is it?" I answered. "Why do you have those scars on your wrists and what's your name?" He said as if he were my mother. "Oh nothing and the name is Kacey" saying while I pull my sleeves down.

     "Ok well Kacey please don't lie to me, I really care about your well being now tell me what are the scars on your wrists?" He said forcing me not to hide anymore. "I use to and still kind of cut myself" mumbling under my breath. "Why do you do that to yourself?" Calum says looking real tormented by the response I gave him. "Well it started when I was in 1st grade and it just dragged onto high school" talking while I looking down the hold time.

    "Alright I can deal with that and I can also be there every step of the way so you don't harm yourself again" he said with his voice cracking and tears in his eyes. "Okay...I'll stop" look at him with tears streaming down my face. And taking me by surprise he leaned over kissed me and I kissed back.

Janell's POV

   Michael and I walk in after getting some food and drinks finding Calum kissing Kacey. "Well I guess there having a good time" Michael says looking at me. "You guessed it" Calum said pulling away from Kacey. "Sweet you brought food I'm starving" Kacey walking up to Janell to help her get the food.

  " Yea are two like together now or something" Janell said in curiosity. "Well that's up to the cutie with the awesome Nirvana shirt" Calum said with flirtatious eye.

  "Well I guess we're together" Kacey looking at Calum as he walks up to her and gives her a hug. "That's awesome I wish you guys the best" I say with the biggest smile Kacey has been through a lot lately and I just want her to be happy for once in her life.  

  "Congrats dude it's about time you got yourself a girl" Michael said as I pushed his arm.  "I mean yay Calum and Kacey are together" Michael realizing that he made a mistake. " Yep.. but wait Michael how did you know my name" Kacey questioning Michael. "Oh well Janell told me about you" Michael said looking at me. "Hope she didn't say too much" Kacey said look at me in like a 'Why didn't you tell me when you walked through the door' look on her face.  "He was wondering how long you and I have been friends so I told him" I say as I give her' Stay calm look on my face.

Calum's POV

"Awkward" I say in my head.  I don't know why she doesn't want Michael to know her name. I mean he needs to know that as Janell's friend and my girlfriend even if Kacey didn't want Janell to say anything he would've found out some point in time. I look at Kacey and she looks a little pissed but it's cute. "I'm so pissed" Kacey mumbled. "Hey look let's go eat so you and I can talk and get know each other more...well so I can get know you" I said with a chuckle. "Yea I think that's a good idea, Cal" Kacey said as I grab her hand walking out the door.  "Are you ok you seem a little dysfunctional." Saying concerned.  "Yeah it's just Janell nev...."

I leaned in and kissed her then picked her up bridal style without breaking the kiss to take her to the car. Soon after we got close to the car Kacey pulled away. "Why did you do that?" She said still holding her in my arms. "I don't know you just look down and I wanted to cheer you up" saying looking at the ground. "Well you did hella good job because as soon as you kissed me I didn't know what to" she said blushing like crazy when I helped her get into the car. " I just want to make you happy I never want to see you down" I said gazing into her eyes after I got in. "Aww I really appreciate that, Cal you know you're a really good person and boyfriend ." Kacey saying while grabbing my hand. "Well when a guy has an amazing girl by his side of course he'll do anything in his power to keep her happy" I said say squeezing her hand.
