Chapter 3: Beside You

Janell's POV

"I don't know why she's mad I mean I told her this would happen before we even met you guys" I say walking over to the couch with Michael following behind me. "Why do you think she's mad" Michael said making me look up. He eyes are so green it's like looking at grass on a summer day.  "I don't know she normally laid back and cool, it's almost like she thinks I did something wrong." Look at Michael face to face its like a dream come true his lips are so perfectly pink, his hair so colorful, he's just an amazing person. "Maybe I should apologize to her and you I mean I really like you and I just want everything to be cool between us and your friends" Michael starts to get up and pace back and forth. "Look it's ok I...... wait did you just say you liked me." Oh my gosh did Michael say he liked me this is awesome. "Pfft... what no I said I like food" Michael said looking away. "No don't worry I like you too but I want to get to know you more than I already do, I also want you to get a chance to know me as well." I say as I walk over to Michael and grab his hand. Michael leans in to kiss but then. "Michael do you want to help us setup for sound check" Ashton said as he bursts in.

Ashton's POV

I walked in and saw Michael holding hands with some girl looks like she's already hooked on to Michael but I still have May. "Hey guys.. ahh Michael who is this?"  " Umm this is a friend of mine that I just met not too long ago her name is Janell and she's one of our fans" Michael saying after quickly letting go of her hand. "Well nice to meet you, Janell, hey where's Calum?"

I asked as I look at Janell who was texting like something was on her mind.  "Ohh Janell's friend, Kacey, that she came with is with Calum getting food I guess but Calum tuned before he left." Michael said as he walked over to where I was standing. "Yea I'm trying to text and call Kacey but she's not answering her phone, I mainly think it's because she's mad at me." Janell said looking at her phone like a Tech Geek.  

"Well why is Calum with this Kacey girl?" I question.  "Oh because they're dating... you know like boyfriend and girlfriend type thing." Michael says use a lot of hand gestures. Thinking to myself didn't Calum just meet this girl. "Why is he moving so quickly if he's trying to get over Jennifer this is not the way to do it." I say concerned for Calum and his relationship.  If Calum moves to fast and is not ready for a new relationship he could definitely hurt Kacey"s heart.

                    40 minutes later

    

Janell's POV

    "Why isn't she picking up her phone she can't be this mad at me, I really didn't do anything wrong." Saying to Michael while he's comforting me.  " Look if Calum doesn't get here with Kacey in a few minutes he's going to miss the concert." Michael said getting up and pacing back and forth.  The door bursts open with Calum and Kacey walking in holding hands while running inside.

"Look I know we're late but Kacey and I started talking and we took a nap in the car, then afterwards we woke up and realized what time is was and we drove off getting stuck in traffic to the concert, but the good thing is we got here just in time before the show." Calum said changing into a new shirt and starting to brush his teeth as well as the other boys.

"Well I don't care where you guys have been as long as you two got here in time for the concert." I said getting up walking over to Kacey. "Ahh what do you want Janell." Kacey said folding her arms. "Kacey I know you're a little bit mad at me but..."  I say as Kacey starts to cut me off. "Janell I'm not mad anymore me and Calum talked it through, puls I knew it was going to happen some point in time."

Kacey looking at me assuring that she was okay.  "Sooo, What you're saying is you and I are cool." I said just to be sure. "Yep we're cooler than Antarctica." Kacey said with a small chuckle. "Hey guess what, Lizbeth and Abril are coming to the concert tonight." I say while Kacey and I walk over to the couch to wait on the guys to perform.

"Ohh yay! They were able to make it that means that they also get to see the guys backstage, including One Direction."  Kacey said thinking about maybe hooking Liz up with Niall.  "Yea but don't think you can hook Liz up with Niall okay he's with Selena." I said like my mother.  "I don't give a donkey's butt I will make sure our best friend will meet and marry Niall Horan." Kacey says as she stands up and puts her hands on her hips.
