Chapter 3

Stacy POV

I woke up the next morning. I was so happy, IT WAS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!

"Yayyyyyyyyy!!!!!" I yelled squirming around still in my bed as I did this.

"Stacy, are you okay?" My mom said yelling upstairs.

"Oh.. Yeah I'm fine. Sorry." I got out of bed and looked out the window it was very sunny and there were no clouds in sight. I started straightening my hair and got ready. I went looking through my closet looking for this cute blouse I got specially for today; I put it on and my favorite pair of daisy Duke shorts. I put my makeup on and walked downstairs. I poured cereal in a bowl, ate it all, then checked my phone. I saw it was time to go and went out to my car.

I drove over and picked Autumn up and started driving to school.

"Heyyyyy. It's the last day of schoooollll!!!!!" I said as we were pulling up to the school.

"Yeahhh it is!! Too bad you have to stay home and be with Luke." I totally forgot about that.

"OHhhh I completely forgot about that. Ugh this sucks!!"

"Yeah I bet it does. Well you could hang out with me." She said as I pulled up to my locker.

"I would but I know my mom wouldn't let me hang out with anyone. She wants me to be there when them come." I said in a mimicking voice.

"Yeah well I got to go see you later." Then she walked off.

Sadly, that day went super fast and I was in Math for my last final. I was happy the day was almost done but I didn't want to go home and had to deal with all that. The good thing was, was that i could maybe talk to Max again.

I finshed my final and I got to leave. Apparently Max finished at the same time.

"Hey" I said walking up beside him. He looked really cute today he was wearing a tight navy blue shirt and khaki's.

"Oh hey. Isn't it great it's finally done." He gave me another smile. I loved his smile!! I could look at it all day and not get tired of it.... Okay that was corny.

"I know it's awesome. I've been wanting summer to come for sooo long".

"Yeah so I was thinking." He turned and stood in front of me, so we were both facing eachother in the middle of the hallway. "Why don't we hang out tonight?" He gave a little grin. Oh my Gosh!! Yayy!! Oh wait, oh no!!!

"Ohhhh nooo, I can't. I have company coming that I can't really get out of. I'm sorry." Ugh now today is going to be even worse because now I have something against them.

"Oh.. No that's fine we can do it some other time." We started walking again.

"Oh this sucks. I really want too but just not tonight. How 'bout I text you and we cna hang out this weekend?"

"Yeah, that sounds good!" He gave me another gorgeous smile!!! Gosh I love it!! Then he walked away to his locker.

I was dreading going home. I got there and I saw 2 cars in the drive way.

"What the heck, they weren't supposed to be here until later this afternoon." I said talking to myself. I tend to do that a lot.

I walked in the door reluctantly. I would have rather just gotten in the car and drove to Marissa's but I knew my mom would have killed me if I wouldn't have come home. So I just sucked it up and walked in.

I put my backpack in the closet as fast and as quiet as I could. Then I tried to make it up to my room before anyone caught me, when I heard a voice.

"Leaving so soon?" Gosh, I hated that voice and the fact that he caught me made it even worse. I turned around slowly with a glare.

"Yes, in fact I was Luke. I couldn't stand to be around you!" He gave me his stupid smirk. I hated when he thought my anger was funny.

He got up from the Lazy boy rocker and came and stood in front of me.

"You know you are soooo excited I'm here so don't try to hide it". He said looking down at me still smirking.

"Trust me, I'm not." He gave a little chuckle then started walking towards the kitchen door.

"See you around Stace." And then he was gone. I ran up to my room and plopped my body down on the bed.

"This is going to be the longest summer ever. Uggghhhhh"
