"Your telling me that your in New Jersey?!," I scream over the phone. Matthew just sighs and rolls his eyes, while Twinkie just shakes her head in shame.

"If you want, I can buy another ticket to New York tomorrow...first thing in the morning." She says. I just sigh.

"Where are you gonna stay?" I ask.

"A hotel or something I don't know.. I'll figure something out." She replies.

"No, no, no! That's just a waste of money... Me and Twinkie will pick you up, okay? Matthew's coming, too." I say.
I look over at Matthew and he's shaking his head, indicating that he doesn't want to go ALL the way to New Jersey and back.

"Okay maybe only me and Twinkie are coming. Just sleep on some seats or something, we're on our way." I say and hang up. I turn over to Twinkie and she's smiling..?

"YAY! An adventure! I can't wait to go to New Jersey! We're gonna have so much fun." She says.

"Yeah, well you guys have fun. It's at least 2 or 3 hours to get there. I'll see you guys in a month or two." Matthew says jokingly, and snickers as he leaves the airport.

"What are we gonna do now? Should we go home and take a backpack or something?" I ask.

"Let's take the Dora the Explorer suitcase. We can practically got everything in there. It's small, it rolls, and fits a bunch of stuff!" Twinkie says.

"That's good idea... Let's get going then!" I say happily.

Once we reach our apartment, we quickly grab the Dora the Explorer suitcase and open it up.

"So what should start with?" Twinkie asks.

"Obviously food. That's not even a logical question." I say. I grab some Oreos, Ritz crackers, sour cream and onion chips, and a liter of soda. I put it all into a brown bag and place it in the suitcase.

"Now we need clothes." I say. I grab a jacket, some shirts, a sweater, jeans, bras, undies, and all that stuff.

We finish packing the bag, and we try to zip it, but it won't close all the way.
I sit on top of it, but I'm really skinny, so it doesn't help much. Finally, we get it to close by putting a chair on top of the suitcase.

"Let's go!" Twinkie says. We leave the apartment and head to the subway. By now, it's 4:00 p.m., and it's still freezing outside.

"How does someone confuse New Jersey and New York?" I say as I pull the suitcase along.

"I'm not sure.. Maybe they are deaf?" Twinkie says as she giggles a bit.

"Perhaps," I say.

We get into the subway and take a seat, since there wasn't a lot of people on this time.

"I'm really tired, strawberry. All this walking is making me sleepy." She says.

"Me too," I agree.

Ten minutes into sitting there, before I know it, both Twinkie and I fall asleep...

•••

"Ma'am?" I hear as someone is shaking me. I wake up and see Twinkie resting her head on my shoulder. I look up and see a man staring at me.

"You fell asleep. It's almost 11:00 p.m." The man says. I quickly realize we must have missed the stop to New Jersey! I shake Twinkie.

"Did we already pass New Jersey?" I say in a worried tone.

"Yes ma'am. This train is headed back to Manhattan." He says. I rub my eyes and sigh.

"What time will we get to New Jersey?" I ask.

"No idea, ma'am." The man says. I sigh and he walks away.

"Aw, crap." Twinkie mutters. She sits up and rubs her eyes.

"Ugh.. We're such idiots." I say.

"I'm hungry.. and still tired." Twinkie says. I open the suitcase and hand her some of the sour cream and onion chips I had packed earlier.

"Thanks," she whispers.

I look around and no one is on the train but us. I pull my phone out to call Jetzabel, but realize that I have no signal.

"Do you think she's still at the airport in Jersey?" I ask

"Insnsnsndnsneodontnakamwn." Twinkie says.

"What?" I ask. Twinkie swallows the 1000 chips she had in her mouth and finally says,"I don't know." I sigh and sit back into the train seat.

"Twinkie, go lay down on the seat. I'll stay awake." I say. She doesn't argue, and just grabs a pillow and blanket from the suitcase and makes her own mini bed on the seat in front of us.

"Strawberry?" Twinkie says.

"Yeah?" I say.

"What are we gonna do when we find Jetza?" She asks.

"Bring her to Manhattan." I say.

"I know, but like, where is she gonna stay?" She asks.

"Well, she's staying here for practically a month, so I mean she can stay at Matt's house or something. No offense to her, but when we get home, I'm gonna need a nice long nap...and Netflix." I say, smiling.

"Same."
