Sam waited outside Lela's door. He heard very soft whimpers coming from the other side of the door. He gently knocked on the door.

"Lela? Its Sam. May I talk with you?" asked Sam.
"Go away. Please?" said a very devastated Lela.

Sam stood there with a very soft and gentle look on his face. He felt really bad for the crying girl on the other side of the door.

"Okay. I'll just sit out here and just wait. You know that you can talk to me. Like I told you when we were back at your house." said Sam, gently.

Lela didn't say a word. She just kept her head in her lap.

Next morning, Dean woke up on the couch, groggy. He had a few beers with Bobby and he got slight tipsy. He walked up the stairs and found Sam leaning against the door to where Lela was staying, asleep.

"Hey, wake up." said Dean, kicking Sam in the foot.

Sam woke up. He looked up at Dean.

"Have you been out here all night?" asked Dean.
"Yeah. She wanted me to go away but I stayed out here all night." said a tired Sam.
"Well, lets wake the girl." said Dean, as he knocks.
"Dean no!" Sam whispered loudly.

Dean knocked on the door.

"Lela! Its Sam and Dean. Open up." yelled Dean.

No answer. After about what seemed a while, the door opened. Sam entered first and when he peeked around the door, he saw Lela just standing there. She walked over to the bed, pulling a blanket around her back to keep herself warm.

"So I have to stay with the two of you until that whatever it is happens to me happens?" asked Lela.
"I'm so sorry." said a very sorry Sam.
"Its for the best. You need us to protect you from Crowley." said Dean.

Dean walked out of the room after that and just left Sam with Lela. Sam turned to Lela, who looked like she just wanted to cry.

"What's going to happen to me? I'm so scared." Lela was crying.
"Sssshhh! We won't let anything happen to you. I won't let anything happen to you." said Sam.
"What exactly is going to happen to me? Tell me, Sam." begged Lela.

Sam sighed heavily. He didn't want to tell her whats going to happen to her but she needed to know and Lela isn't a girl that gives up easily. He looked at her tear filled eyes and sighed heavily again.

"Patrick is a demon as you know. When you were passed out, before we got there, he injected you with his demon blood. Multiple injections of it. He said within a month or two, you'll become a demon. Castiel killed him a bit after he told us everything." Sam just laid everything out on the table.

Lela was extremely shocked. She started crying again.

"I'm going to become a freak of nature?" she cried.

Sam just looked at her. With everything that he went through, with yellow-eyed demon and Lucifer, he understood how she felt.

"No. Of course not. That's not going to happen. Believe me. I know what it feels like to feel this way. No matter what happens, you are not a freak of nature." Sam said that as he scooted closer to Lela.

Sam sat closer to Lela and just held her there. She leaned her head on his shoulder. Her eyes were filled with fear and tears. She cried for about an hour. Within that hour, Sam looked down at his watch. It read 5:45pm. Sam laid Lela down on the bed. Sam  laid down next to her thinking about what they're gonna do about Lela and her becoming a demon. After what seemed like 30 minutes, of him just staring up at the ceiling, Sam fell asleep next to Lela.

Three hours later, Dean walks up the stairs and knocked on the door to the room where Lela was staying in. He knocks on the door. From inside the room, Sam bolted straight up and looked at Lela and realized he fell asleep. Sam jumped out of bed and headed to the door. When he opened it, Dean was standing outside the door.

"So did you tell her? And by the look of things, you two fell asleep next to each other. Wow! Way to move, Sammie." said a very impressed Dean.
"Shut up, Dean." said Sam, annoyingly.
"Did you kiss and ask her out first?" asked Dean.
"SHUT UP, DEAN!! She fell asleep crying. I laid her down and I fell asleep next to her." said Sam.

Dean opened his eyes wide and looked at Lela through the door way. She moved in her sleep.

"Wow, heavy sleeper. So you like the girl? Well be careful, because if she does turn into a demon, then she will be hunted. I'm sorry, Sam, but it will be done." said Dean.

Sam looked in at Lela. He liked her but he knew it could never happen because of what she'll become. Sam and Dean walked down stairs to Cas and Bobby and enjoyed a few beers.
