This is a story about lost things. I became one of them a long, long time ago. Like most sotries, or at least most of the ones I have heard, it starts at the moment I fell through the gap.

I know what you'll say. You idiot! There's a warning sign right on the door! How could you miss it! Well, i did miss it. I missed it on purpose.

No one that day say me get onto the train. No one saw me get off. No one saw me fall. I was used to this by now od course. People's eyes slide over those with disabilities. Better to ignore that which makes them unconfortable. But I was still there, without an arm, I suppose, nbut there nevertheless. And yet I was ignored. And so I decided to follow the voices.

of course, now you think I am more crazy. Voices? Isn't that a mental disease? Yes. I suppose, maybe, it is. That is what I thought at first as well. But I know now that they were different. They were real.

And how do I know this? Because I am one. I became one, the day I fell down into the darkness.

The day I entered Betwixt.
