My Lucky date

Chapter 2

"Ladies first~" Ravi said as he pulled open the door and gestured me in as I smiled at him, entering the café, looking for an available seat. I saw an empty booth that was located at the far corner of the café and immediately walked towards it.

"So, what would you like to drink?" Ravi asked as he took the seat opposite me and glanced at the menu as I looked at the wide variety of drinks, suddenly spoilt for choice.

"Hmm, I would like to drink the green tea frappe." I replied after a while as Ravi widen his eyes the moment I told him the drink that I wanted.

"Are you serious? That's the drink that I want to order too!" He answered as even I felt amazed by our similarity. As he stood up just about to proceed to order the drinks, I stopped him.

"Hey, let me do the ordering." I said quickly as I stood up as he stared at me with a confused expression.

"But I am the guy here. I should be the one ordering!" He replied as he pouted, staring at me with his puppy eyes. I shook my head slightly, ignoring his antics.

"And unless you want a flock of Starlights coming in and disrupting your simple and normal date, you let me do the ordering. Besides, I am the average person here, not you." I continued as I saw him muttering something but couldn't make out what he was saying.

After the ordering and the collection of the drinks, I went back to the booth to see Ravi staring into space, deep in thought. I long knew Ravi was handsome and all, but now that I had managed to see him up close, his perfect features that are almost comparable to Hongbin certainly made my heart fluttered.

"What are you staring at?" He said suddenly, bringing me back to reality as I quickly handed him his drink while my face felt as though it was turning red again.

We then talk about anything under the sky, where most of the conversations were catered towards knowing me better since Ravi was almost like an open book, with most of his information available online. Despite the fact that Ravi is an idol, I am surprised at the level of comfortableness that I had with him. It was as though he was not an idol but my best friend instead.

"Hey ___, can I ask you something?" Ravi said all of a sudden as I looked at him, taking the last mouth of my drink as I nodded.

"Who is your bias in VIXX? Sorry for the sudden question but I am very curious!" He continued as I sat there, unsure whether should I be truthful or should I lie.

"Well..." I began as Ravi sat there, clearly excited to know my answer.

"This may sound a little awkward but my bias in VIXX is you!" I blurted out as Ravi edged backwards, clearly surprised at my answer.

"Your bias is me? Are you serious?" He said after a minute of silence as I nodded my head.

"Wow. And I thought your bias could be Leo hyung or Hongbin. Man I am really surprised that it is me!" He continued as he scratched his head in shyness.

"And why would you think that way? You have so many good qualities such a friendly, talented, nice to your family, well-built and many more!" I answered as he raised an eyebrow.

"Wow, I am really your bias! Are you my number 1 fan or something?" He teased as this time; it was me who scratched my head out of shyness.

"I don't think I can boast that since started liking VIXX during the 'On and On' era. I am sure that are hardcore Ravi fans out there..." I replied sincerely as Ravi chuckled.

"But none of them as special as you are, since you are the only Starlight that I had gone on date so far. Anyway, so where are we headed to next?" He asked.

"The movie theatres, I hoped you haven't watched Robocop!" I answered as I pulled out two tickets from my bag and waved it as he looked at me incredulously.

"THAT MOVIE IS ON MY TO-WATCH LIST. You mean we are going to watch this now?" He asked while I smiled at him.

"Let's go let's go!" He said happily while I chuckled, clearly amused by his reaction. I bet most of my Starlight friends will be amused if they get to know this side of Ravi.

As we were making our way towards the movie theatres, which was located a short distance away from the café; he pulled out this phone all of a sudden and glanced at me.

"___, let's take a photo!" He said suddenly.

"Oh, okay!" I replied as he took a step closer to me, bridging the personal space that was in between us. Placing his hand on my shoulder as he took the photo, it appears as though we were a couple. Of course, a fan girl can dream right?

"Wow, this looks nice!" He commented as he showed me the photo, which I had to agree that the photo turned out nice, since Ravi was in the photo.

"Do you mind if we took one using my phone as well?" I asked as I pulled out my phone, where he smiled his goofy grin at me.

"I thought you never ask!" He replied as he took my phone, placing his hand on my shoulder again. Gosh, I can hyperventilate from all this skin ship with Ravi. And yet, he doesn't even realize what effect he had on me.

On our way to the theatre, we began to talk about the different movies that we liked. It was during the conversation did I realized I had identical taste with Ravi when it comes to the type of movies that I liked to watch, which mostly consists of fantasy and action. Even my closest friends do not share such similarity with me as they prefer thriller as well as horror.

This may seem absurd, but it looks like Ravi, the idol that I adore so much, have the qualities that I am looking out for as my ideal type.

As we entered the cinema hall that will be showing Robocop, I gasped in horror the moment we approached our seats, double checking with the tickets to see that I am not dreaming.

It was couple seats.
