Chapter 32:

The War...

Jade P.O.V.

The air was crisp and cool, showing the sun's about to rise. The grass soft and damp. Everyone gathered around me and bowed down to me. The feeling was a little awkward but, oh well.
"I'm happy to fight for my best friend and queen" Vicky says.
"I'm proud to fight for you" Vincent says.
"I will always have your back, my queen" Sasha says.
"I'm happy you're my queen" Oliver says.
"I'm so proud of you" my dad says.
"Same here, glad that you've decided to step to the plate" my mom says.
"I will always be on your side" Raul says.
"You will be a great queen after this war" Rico says.
"And I'm glad you're my queen and I'm more then willing to die for you today. Now will you do me a favor" Prince asks.
"What's the favor" I ask him.
"Will you lead this run" he asks.
"Yes, but if I lead. Will you lead with me" I ask him.
"Okay" he says giving me a smirk.

We've gotten into a formation a little different, only Prince and I are in the front. We all quickly shift and start running. I've noticed Prince and I are literally running in sync. If that even made sense.
We made it to the field to meet Raid's group. I didn't see Raid. But I did see 30 male wolves and Kate standing on the other side. I could hear our pack growling behind me. Prince's wolf howled, filling the whole field. Soon after Oliver howled.
Two wolves on Raid's side did the same but no one made a single move. Like they were waiting on something.
I felt the need to step up. So Artemisia took a step forward and howled even louder then everyone else did. She started to run and so did my pack and the enemies. I made it to one wolf and ripped his throat out. Wow! We killed about six more wolves. I looked around and see two wolves ganging up on Vicky. I ran up the three of them hurt both wolves. I howled another time, daring anyone to fight me.
The war was going good for our side. Soon I was knocked over, and I have to say that hurt so much. I lost control of Artemisia. She won't get up. Through her eyes I watched the war.
'Artemisia get up!' I yell at her. 'Get up please' I beg.
I saw Vicky's wolf running towards me but she does make it to me. Sasha's wolf tired to do the same, but she wasn't successful either.
'Jade!' I hear Prince's voice as his wolf runs towards me. He stand over me, 'Get up, please get up'.
I wanted to, but Artemisia wasn't responding.
'Ja-" Prince started as he landed on the ground in front of me.
Our noses touched. And we looked each other in the eye. As one of the wolves sinked his teeth into Prince's neck. Prince first showed me slight sadness in his eyes then slowly closed them, and his nose went cold.
'Prince!' I cried out. I wanted to move but I couldn't do it.
'Artemisia get up or wake up. Prince is... Dead. Get up. Before we die too, we have to save the rest' I cried. 'Come on get up' I finished. She didn't respond. Left and right I saw the rest of our pack members fall to their death, even my dad... My heart hurt even more seeing that. I see my mom's white wolf standing up. But some wolves jumps on her back and bites her on the spine. She whimpered and fell to the ground.
"Is she dead" I hear a male voice ask.
"No" I hear... Lee?
"Let's take her to Raid" the other voice says.
I felt Artemisia's body being lifted up and carried away. I blacked out before I could even see where we were going.

I wake up looking down at my ankles in chains. I feels so weak. How am I even standing, I can't even lift my head up. I try to pull my arms down and they can't go down. Wait, my wrists are chained up too?
"Jade" I hear Raid's voice.
I found the strength to look up, but my hair was block my focus on him. But through my hair I could only see Kate and Agatha.
"I'm happy to say that, my men have killed your friends, your father, and your mate" he says.
I couldn't say anything. I was hurt, but I can't cry not in front of them. Prince is dead. Vicky? Daddy? What more can I lose. Wait my mom isn't dead.
"I'm also happy to say that I will finally kill your mother, and I will kill her for real this time. But if you don't want me to, I'm willing to make a deal with you" he says.
I stay silent.
"If you will like to keep your mother alive. You will have to give up your position as queen, you will be mated to Romo. And you will give your sister to Lee" he tells me.
"I will take good care of your sister" Lee says with a husky voice.
I still stood silent.
"Lee, Romo, Manny. Stay here with Jade and get an answer out of her. Even if you have to hurt her" Raid says leaving the room with Kate and Agatha.

"What should we do with her" Romo asks.
"We've already done enough" Manny says.
"How about some physical pain" Lee says taking my hair from my face.
"What will we do" Manny asks.
"Burn her beautiful skin with silver. Mess up her face. Cut her hair" Lee suggested.
"How about we just stick with the silver" Romo says.
"Slave!" Lee yells out.
Kate walks in.
"Yes master" she says.
"Get me some silver and a cloth so I can hold it" he commands her.
"Yes master" she says quickly walking out.
"She'll make a good slave for me. Right Jade" Lee asks me.
"No" that was the only word I managed to say.
"Hmmm. Aren't you glad I killed that horrible mate for yours. He's from the Amazon pack. His name is Rafael Santos the 2nd. He could kill you if he wanted to. I saved your life" he says.
I stood silent again.
Kate walks back in with a silver rod that's about two feet long. She quickly hands it to Lee and starts to walk away.
"No I need you to stay here" he commands her.
"Yes master" she says stopping in her place.
"Come over here and help me out" he commands her.
I hear him tell Kate to lift my shirt up. And to be honest I have no idea how I got these clothes on. Wait I have no bra! What is he about to do with that rod. Kate lifts my shirt up only in the back. Oh thank goodness.
"Now Jade you will get 15 times. If you don't answer my question. Are you really the queen?" Lee asks from behind me.
I couldn't speak.
I felt a lot of heat on my back with one hit. And the pain was unbearable. I scream in pain every time he hit me. It seemed like he took forever to do the 15 hits. Each time I screamed Romo and Manny will laugh in my face.
The pain that I felt turned to anger. I started pulling to chains on my wrist, and thankfully the ceiling broke. I took one step to break one of the chains on my ankle and other step to break the other chain. I grabbed Lee and broke his neck with ease. I just knew I killed him.
"You take my mate's life I take yours" I tell his dead body. I punch Kate hard in the face making her fall down. So she will stay out my way. I turn to see Romo and Manny ready to fight me. I grab the silver rod with my bare hand and stabbed Manny in the chest. Then slammed Romo to the floor and stomped on his chest making most of his ribs break. Well at least I think I did. I sat on his broken chest and put my hands around his throat and choked him until he laid lifeless. I look around to see Kate still laying on the floor. Good now hopefully she will not wake up.
I quickly walk out the room and followed the scent of my mom to the room next to mine. In there I saw Agatha, but not Raid. She tried to jump at me, but I quickly grab her throat and push her to the near by wall.
"Where is he" I questioned her.
"I will not tell you" she snapped at me.
I held her throat tighter and tighter until I no longer felt a pulse. I let her fall to the floor. I walk over to my moms almost lifeless body.
"Hey Princess" she says barely smiling.
"Mom, please don't die on me" I cried.
"No one can kill us. Mother just needs to heal me in the heavens. I will be back soon" she says slowly closing her eyes.
"But where is he" I ask her.
"Mother will guide you just start walking" my mom says.
