One day, a little girl had a cat, and the cat had kittens. The little girl loved the kittens, and she played with them all day. But when the little girl got home from school the next day, they were gone. When she asked her dad where they were he said "They went up to God."
A little while later, the cat had another litter. The little girl loved these ones too, and played with them all day. When she got home from school the next day, she entered to hear something from the other room. She quietly peeked through a crack in the doorway, and saw her dad, drowning the kittens one by one in a bucket of cold water.
Later, she asked her dad where the kids had gone. Again, he responded, "They went up to God"
The next day, her mother was out running errands all morning. When she got home she went into her bedroom. The little girl waited a moment. Then she heard a scream. "What happened to him!?"
The little girl responded, "He went up to God"
