Chapter 3 - A serious talk with the parents

When Asher was safely in bed I propped myself on my favorite chair in his room and looked across at his parents.

"Now you can ask questions but first Riki I have one for you. Are you a Supernatural?" The question went through me like a needle I instantly became shy.

"No..." I said

"Then, Who told you?" I knew was going to ask that. I squirmed in my seat should I tell them will it be ok but they had to know I silently apologized to older Asher and then told ten every detail from the appearance to the time stopping to when he left me and I took Asher home.

"Hm. Very interesting indeed I guess well have to keep an eye on you and Asher huh?" I became confused.

"Why me as well?" He did a get wrenching laugh and answered after finally composing himself enough to speak.

"I know My son! He would never waste his time just to talk to you about supernaturals or come from the future just to say it take time just to talk no sir, not him! It must of been important to say. My best guess is you might be a supernatural of some sort try to ask your parents at home." I knew that was a way of saying "you can go now" in a polite manner. So I took my stuff and was about to go when he grabbed my arm.

"Before you go do you have any questions?" I thought. Did I? I looked at Asher and instantly thought of one.

"Yeah. Why did he stop breathing why didn't you guys take him to a hospital!" The mom and dad exchanged bubbly looks.

"Well because to become a full fledged Supernatural you must die." I can feel my eyes starting to widen.

"WHAT LIKE A VAMPIRE?!" I asked clear shock on my face.

"Yup. We're reborn into a full fledged supernatural at the final stage of puberty. That's the time all of our powers develop as well as our appearance into a whole new being." The mom explained. I nodded. That's kinda cool but I wondered if it hurt, but instead of asking I headed out of Asher's room.

"That's all bye see you tomorrow!" They both smiles and waves from the corned of my eyes. I smiled sweetly.
