The whole ride to the airport I felt as if I was being interrogated.

"So.. Who will you be staying with during your stay?" My mom asked accusingly.

"Umm, Heather? She is kinda the only person I know in the entire country." I retorted.

"What about this Liam boy I've been hearing so much about?" She momentarily took her eyes off the road to give me a all knowing devilish grin.

"Hey there Evil Knievel, eyes on the road. And he is JUST a friend. Actually he's hardly even that. I've never even met him in person mother." I let my sassy side show, which earned me a scowl from her.

"That doesn't make you sound like a weirdo at all considering his face is plastered all over your bedroom walls." She giggled at herself, impressed by what she believed to be a witty comeback.

"You're such a loser mom. And it's not like I'm gonna go stay at his house just because he's an international popstar."

"Pssht, I WOULD! But you didn't hear that. You act like you don't talk to him ALL THE FREAKING TIME. Which I know you do because our phone bill has skyrocketed due to the international calls." She glared at me.

"Oops." I replied. She giggled so I knew she wasn't really pissed. "I'm really not gonna stay with him though I promise." I added.

"Well, even if you do, just promise me you'll use protection. I'm to young for grandbabies." She fought to hold back a smile.

"MOM!" I blushed and punched her arm. "We aren't even dating for Christ's sake!"

"Not yet." She said under her breath. I pretended not to hear her so the embarrassing conversation would stop. Neither of  us said much after that.

My mom parked the car in front of the airport and looked over at me with tear filled eyes.

"Mom? Are you ok?" I asked.

"Yes. No. I don't know. I just can't believe my baby is about to fly to another country all alone." She managed to choke out before the first tear fell. I reached across the console and brushed the cascading tear off her face.

"Awwh mommy! I'll be alright. I will call you as soon as I land. Please don't cry."

She nodded and tried to contain her emotions. It hurt seeing my mom cry and I began thinking about calling Heather and canceling going early.

"Kennedy Lynn! Don't even think about it!" My mom said, all sad emotion completely wiped from her voice.

"What?" I asked looking over at her.

"I know that face. You're about to back out of going cause of me. But, I'm not about to let that happen! This is your sisters wedding and she needs you! Don't back outta going cause I cry about it. I cried your first day of kindergarten and you sure didn't hesitate to run off then, so don't even think about it now. I will be just fine!" She didn't even give me time to reply before she was at the back of the car unloading my stuff and pushing me along through the doors. I turned and looked at her.

"I love you mom." I said, trying to choke my own tears.

"I love you too princess. Now go on. I'll see you in 3 weeks!" She kissed my cheek and turned to leave. I put all my stuff on the belt at the luggage center thing and headed toward the loading dock. I boarded the plane, put my headphones in, sent a quick text to Heather notifying I was on the plane. and then drifted into a peaceful 14 hour nap.

(14 hours later)

I was awaken by a nice older man gently shaking my shoulder.

"Excuse me miss, but the plane has landed." He said in his charming Cheshire accent.

"Oh. Thank you." I said, rubbing my eyes.

"You aren't from around here, are you love?" He asked, noticing my god awful Southern Indiana accent.

"Oh, um, no. I'm not that lucky." I replied standing up from my seat.

"Visiting a relative?" He kindly asked.

"My sister is getting married soon so I had to come save her from a bridal break down." I explained.

"That's a very nice thing for a young lady to do. Have a lovely day, love." He said walking off.

I exited the plane and headed to get my luggage. The line was oober long, which is just my freaking luck. I stood there for what seemed like ages before someone came up behind me and covered my eyes with their hands.

"Heather! Ohmygosh I've missed you so much!" I said uncovering my eyes and turning to find someone that was DEFINITELY not my sister.

"You always seem to mistake me for her." The tall man that stood before me said with a cheeky smile.

"LIAM!" I screamed and wrapped my arms around his neck, nuzzling my head into his chest. "What are you doing here?" I replied looking up at him. I was expecting a verbal answer, but Liam's mouth had other plans. Before I could realize what was going on, he had leaned in and pressed his lips against mine. After a split second of hesitation, I kissed back. A spark charged through me, starting at my lips and flowing all the way to my toes. All to soon, his lips were no longer connected with mine.

"Woah." Was the only reply I managed to choke out.

"I.. I'm.. Ohmygosh Kennedy. I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to do that. I mean I wanted to but I didn't think.. Ohmygoodness. Now everything is gonna be awkward. I told her not to let me come. I'm so sorry." He rambled.

"Don't be sorry. And nothing is going to be awkward. I've been wanting to do that for about 3 or so years now... I did NOT mean to say that put loud." I blushed and Liam just smiled down at me.

"Well, in that case.." he leaned hos face towards mine once more and locked our lips. The same charge I felt the first time flowed through me once more. He leaned back again and I reluctantly opened my eyes. "We better get you to Heather before she starts making missing person posters."  He teased with a smile. He grabbed my hand and directed me towards his black Range Rover. My mind felt like mush. I had kissed Liam freaking Payne. Twice.

Sorry for the wait. I have writers block like no other, so if you don't like this chapter, blame that. By the way, the old man from the plane isn't random. He returns later in the story. I will try to update again soon. I know where I'm going with this story, it's just the details that are killing me. Ugghh. THIS IS WHY I CAN'T PASS AN ENGLISH CLASS TO SAVE MY LIFE! Oh and by the way, I H-A-T-E Modest Management and we should all team up and buy One Direction from them. With that said, this chick is O-U-T!
