(A/N)Hey guys!
Picture of Daniel ^Enjoy!xx
****We pulled up next to the huge fountain in front of the house.
I couldn't help but gawk. It was beautiful.
I take my duffle bag out of the trunk and walk up to the huge double doors. I yank the door, and surprisingly, it was unlocked. As I walk in, I am met with the fresh smell of oak and pine. There was a white marble, grand double staircase, with black railings, and a gigantic chandelier, hanging above it, giving off a warm glow. For some reason, I find that its symmetry is very pleasing.
"Your stuff is in your room, go unpack." Dan says, as I stand there, once again, gawking. "Your room is up the stairs, to the right, the second to last door on your left," he says.
I slowly walk up the stairs, and to my room. I walk in and look down as I feel cold hardwood under my feet. I look up to find that my room was incredibly HUGE!
The room had a huge, light beige California king bed against the wall. The bed was resting on a fluffy white carpet. On one side of the bed, there is a bedside table, the same color as the bed, with a cute little rose gold and white lamp. On the other side of the bed and against the wall, there's a bookshelf that reaches the ceiling. Since I had my stuff shipped here, all my books were in stacked boxes next to the shelf.
I walk over to one of the two doors in my room, to find a bathroom the size of a small bedroom. Oh dang. I feel like the bathroom is too fancy to be used. There was an infinity tub and a shower, along with a mirror that basically took up the entire wall. Everything was matching, courtesy of my mother.
I open the second door to see a huge walk in closet. All my suitcases were already in there, waiting to be unpacked. As much as I would love to stand and gawk at the size of the closet, I can't, because I have to get unpacking. I grab my phone and blast Ride by Twenty One Pilots.
Time to get to work.
*****
I am finally done unpacking, so i change into my running shorts, jump on my bed, and turned on my laptop. I was reading a Wattpad story, when my phone started ringing.
Ugh.
"What do you want Daniel." I say, grumpily. Hey, don't blame me, blame the cliffhangers.
"Wow, okay then," he says, "I was just calling to tell you that I'm over at the neighbors' house along with Mom and Dad and they want you to come over." He says.
"Ok, but do I have to dress fancy?" I ask, not bothering to hide my annoyance. What? I'm tired and jet lagged. Can you blame me?
"No. I don't see the point, I'm here in my track pants so..." he says, proving his point.
"Ok then, I'll see you in a few." I tell him.
Once I hang up, I take a quick shower. I decide to let my curly hair down and just go in my black running shorts, white t-shirt, and my black and white converse. I grab my phone and walk out of the house.
Dan says it's easy to find the neighbors house because they're actually the only neighbors we have within a walking distance.
As I make my way to their house, I think about what they'll be like. They have six children. Five boys and one girl. I don't know who the girl is, but I pity her, seeing as to how I'm struggling with one brother, I have no idea how she deals with five.
From what Dan has told me, the youngest boy is a 3 year old, two of the boys are identical twins, 13 years old and in 8th grade, the girl and one of the boys are twins and they both just recently turned 17. They're also juniors and attend the high school I am enrolled in. The last one is the same age as my brother. They go to the same college and are roommates. They also both play on the JV soccer team.
