CHPT 21

-Chapter 21-

(Mackenzie's POV)

It was absolutely beautiful

There were colorful hanging lanterns, blankets set out, and a large screen in the front.

"well what do you think?" Emma asked clinging on to Drew

"Emma, I love it!" I said grabbing Louis's hand and guiding him to a blanket.

"yeah you did a great job it looks beautiful." Ellie said doing the same

"yeah so romantic" autumn said before kissing liam

Soon everyone was sitting down and the first movie was starting.

We started with Monsters University.

It was quite cute.

And finished with Finding Dory.

Everyone stood up and started to walk back to the house

I did the same, but Louis grabbed my wrist and pulled me back.

"wait"

"yesss?"

"we need to talk" he said in all seriousness

Talk? Talk about what? About our relationship? Was he going to break up with me? No, no he won't. Would he? No.

"what about?"

"us" he said

Now I was starting to feel a bit nervous.

"us? What about us?"

He put his hands in his pockets

"okay, so uh when summer break starts... We uh, we're going on our world tour." he said

I nodded, oh god he's going to break up with me.

"and we're going tone gone for 6 months so-"

"-so you want us to break up" I said tears welling up "your just going to leave me. Broken. Shattered into a million pieces, just like my mom did?"

Now there were tears, I couldn't control them.

"no-" he tries to stop me

"- no don't, I don't want to here it, I dont need your sympathy." I said

"no no kenzie you've got it all wrong" he said putting his finger to my lips

"what?"

"I wasnt going to break up with you, bloody hell no, why would I do that? I was going to ask you to come with us."

What? He wanted ME to go on tour, all around the world with HIM?

"I- I oh..." i said

"well, do you?" he asked

"I, I uh don't know" I said

I was stunned, yes it was my dream to travel the world. But did I want to leave my family? My house? My small cosy town? Did I just want to leave it all behind?

"here" he said pulling something out of his pocket "I was going to wait, but-"

I gasped, it was beautiful.

It was a locket, it was engraved on the front saying:

Kenz+Lou Forever and Always

It was incredible.

"I hope you like it." he said rubbing the back of his neck after handing it to me

"like it? I love it! Oh Louis it's beautiful" I said

"open it." he smiled

What? There was more?

I opened the small heart shaped charm and I could feel the tears again, this time happy ones.

"oh Louis" is said "its perfect"

On one side it was a picture of me and him, when we were kids, I was missing my 2 front teeth and so was he,and we were grinning like idiots.

On the other side it was me and him the day we got 'reunited' he had taken it with his phone and there too we were grinning like idiots, but this time I was kissing his cheek.

I then gave Louis the biggest hug, with tears of happiness running down my cheeks "thank you, I love it"

I absolutely loved it.

"turn around" he said taking the necklace

I did as told and he put the locket around my neck, it hint around my collar bone perfectly.

He turned me back around and smiled at me.

"so about the tour..." he said

"I think I want to go" I said

In all seriousness I did want to go. It's not like I wouldnt ever come back! It was just 6 months. And when do you ever get a chance like this?

His face brightened "good"

I smiled warmly in his arms staring up into his eyes.

They were so beautiful, it was a perfect moment.

He lent in slightly, as did I.

We were just inches from kissing when-

"you guys comming?" Amy poked her head around a tree, we pulled away "theres a bon fire at the top of the hill, we are all making s'mores! So common!" he said

I sighed

Well I guess we won't have our kiss tonight.
