Shannon was breathing raggedly, having just finished her night with Kevin. He rolled over to turn the lamp off, and she moved over to nibble on his neck.
"More," she breathed. He shook his head.
"Not tonight, baby."
She grunted, pulling her black-laced lingerie over her head. She eyed the drawer next to her, which contained a knife and plate. She trembled as she licked her pink lips. Then she shook her head. No, he is my boyfriend, she thought. I can't do this to him. Of all people, not him.
"You alright?" Kevin asked. He had noticed the nervousness in her eyes. She shook her head, knowing he would freak out if she told him the truth. But as she admired his shirtless body, her cravings brought themselves forth, and her mouth began to water. She pulled the blanket down, examining him. Stop! I can not do this! She was freaking out, and Kevin noticed. "Shannon, darling, what has gotten into you?"
"Nothing, nothing," she mumbled before laying on the other side of the bed. I have to get over my old ways soon, otherwise he might leave.
"Oh God," Kate gasped as she saw the ultra sound. Dr. Wook shook her head, feeling a mixture of annoyance and sympathy for the young girl lying on the white bed in the exam room. The little figure on the black and white screen bounced slightly, and the heart was pounding rhythmically.
"Does the father know you may be pregnant?" Dr. Wook asked Kate. Kate shook her head.
"I don't even know who the father is!" she cried. She put her face in her hands, her brown curls falling over her hands.
Dr. Wook shook her head regretfully. Dr. Wook wondered why the human race kept falling apart, kept going down the drain. She was impatient to go to Madagascar for her animal rescue program. Four more months, she thought. She brushed her light hair behind her ear, and looked at the chart.
"Well, Kate dear, I wish you luck in finding him soon." She then eyed Kate's clothes, and saw how thin and small they were. "Do you have any other clothes? It is kind of chilly out."
Kate sighed, afraid to shake her head. "I hardly even notice the cold anymore."
"Well, I can give you an extra jacket if you want."
"No thanks, I'm fine." Kate grabbed her bag, and began to walk out through the door.
"I'll see you in two weeks," Dr. Wook called out, but Kate didn't seem to notice.
"Don't need any new clothes, mine are pretty enough already," Kate hissed under her breath as she left the obstetrician. She turned the corner on Frosty Lane, walking towards the apartments where Zach hid.
Andre sighed as he looked through his scrapbook. His friend, Taylor, was coming soon. Taylor was the only one who knew his secret, and he trusted her with all his heart. He smiled as he saw the picture of Kate, whom he went to school with. The last he saw of her was when she was receiving money from some guy, and then they hooked up right after.
"Knock knock!" Taylor called out from behind Andre. He jumped, unexpecting her arrival to be so soon.
"Jesus, you scared me!" he said. She laughed, and dropped a bag of cookies on the table.
"I'm fine, how about you?" she asked sarcastically. They both chuckled, and he led her to his computer.
"I'm doing well, at the moment. I think I might tell Kate soon. Or Kevin. Maybe Zach."
"You should, you know they'll accept you. Now come on, can I show you some Kpop?"
"Really? Really. Okay you've got to be kidding me," Andre said in a sassy voice. Taylor made a kissy face, then took his computer to look up the asians she is so dearly in love with. Andre fussed with his red shirt as she forced him over. "So, how is your relationship going?"
"Dunno," she whispered. Her face turned red, and he laughed.
"Which one you leaning to? Matt or Drake?"
"Both."
Shannon was pacing alongside the room when Kevin came in and asked, "What's this for?" He was holding a plate, which had a reddish tint to it. She blushed nervously.
"I get hungry sometimes in the middle of the night, so I keep a plate handy for if I get up," she exposed quickly. Kevin lifted his left eyebrow to get more information out of her. She shook her head, and went back to the kitchen to grab some watermelon.
Kate walked in to the apartment, which had the stench of Mr. Clean in it. "House cleaning today, Pokemon trainer?" she asked Zach. He nodded.
"Actually S. Flipper is doing the cleaning. She hasn't been getting enough lately, so. Where have you been, Ms. Bumblebee?"
"Last night I was so tired I fell asleep at the park. I apologize." She went into her small bed that lie in the corner of the room.
"Oh, I see. You deserve a break."
Kate sighed as she wrapped herself in the white comforter. She wished change to come to her, for the sake of her future. Just then, Bailey, a.k.a. S. Flipper, jumped on to her bed.
"Hey there! Lookie at this!" she exclaimed, showing Kate a drawing of a sloth.
"Is that for Shannon?" Kate joked. Bailey nodded.
"Do you think she'll like it?"
"She'll love it."
"So, do you want to do anything?" Taylor asked Andre as she pulled out her phone with a SHINee case on it. Andre shook his head, then went to open his email. There was one new message.
"Hey, look, Matt emailed me something," he said, taking a cookie from the bag.
"What does it say?"
"He is beginning plans on the camp he wants to open. He is looking for donations."
"C-P-Kamp? Very creative. What does C.P. stand for?" Taylor turned to Andre, who shook his head.
"I don't know. All I know is he has been planning on opening this for a long time, and it is good he is finally starting it."
"I hope it works out for him."
"Me too, me too."
