"Hey, Sass. Lets go to the mall! I'm bored, plus Hot Topic is having a sale on bows and I need a new one," my best friend Lyndia pleaded.

I rolled my eyes. Lyndie didn't actually need a new bow, she just thought she did. She had a drawer full of them. Alphabetically ordered. By color.

"You really don't."

"Please?"

"Ugh, fine! But I'm not going in. I'm getting a pretzel & going to Junes."

"But----"

I interrepted her. "Nope! Those are the terms. Take it or leave it."

She sighed. "Fine. But I'm driving!"

"I figured." I smirked. I went into my bedroom and threw on some skinnies, a flowy shirt, a pair of TOMS, and my pentagram necklace. I went into the conjoinging bathroom and started on my make-up: some mascara, lipbalm, and foundation. I never understood why people insisted I wear makeup; it's not like I cared what looked like.

In fifteen minutes, I was by the door. "Lyndie! Come on! They're gonna be out of bows soon!" I yelled.

She was by the door in an instant. We walked to the car and she opened to her '69 (A/N: ha ha)Ford Mustang. Once we were in and moving, she turned on the radio. As soon as I heard the first few notes, I grounded loudly. Lyndia squealed and blasted the music.

"YOU'RE INSECURE! DON'T KNOW WHAT FOR! YOU'RE TURNIN' HEADS WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE DO-O-OR!" she yelled/sang. "DON'T NEED MAKEUP-"

"Shut up," I groaned.

"EV'RYONE ELSE IN THE ROOM CAN SEE IT" she yelled/sang even louder. "EV'RYONE ELSE BUT YOU!"

"Goddess, save me!" I thought to myself as we drove steadily torward the mall.

*~*~*

We reached the mall a few minutes and 3 more One direction songs later. Luckily, Magic by B.O.B had played too, so my nerves weren't too fried.

Since it was a Saturday afternoon, the mall was packed, and so was the parking structure. The only spot we could find was on the second level of the two-level structure.

"Ugh, Faina's parked next to us. Can I key her car and just go to confession later? Please?"

I laughed. "No, Lyndie. She's not worth the time. Let's go! I'm hungrier than I have been in two hours!"

"That was the last time we ate. You also ate two string cheeses after that. How are you hungry?!"

I shrugged, starting to walk in the general direction of the mall entrance. "I just am. Don't judge me! Now let's go before I eat my own arm off!"

She laughed and skipped along with me.

Lyndie dropped me off in Junes with a song-song "See you later, Sass!

I laughed. "Bye, you idiot!"

I walked into the store and the clerk, Jessica, rushed over to me. "Sassy! I have a few dresses for you that I think you'll absolutely love for homecoming!"

"Ooh, yay. Show me!"

"Well there's this scarlet ballgown, no embellishments or anything, it's all fabric. The color would look great on you, take my word on it. Then I have this silver one shoulder gown, also nothing too big embellishment-wise, and it'll brigthen those gorgeous blue eyes of yours. Then I have this simple, sopisticated silvery-blue mermaid gown. I think you'll really like the fabric on this one, Sass, and it'll definitely highlight your eyes and make you glow. And last, but not least, there's the scarlet, belle-of-the-ball gown. Very poofy, very sparkly, and really gorgeous. You'd look like a queen."
