Walking out of that coffee shop made me feel a bit sad.
My thoughts were buzzing, like they always do when i think of Asher..
His name is Asher Lyfe. He's 17 years old. I have to get to know him.
I was taken out of my thoughts when I suddenly felt someone bump into me hard. The two of us fell to the ground and I gasped.
"Sorry! I'm so sorry!" I heard a familiar voice say.
My eyes widened as I looked towards the man that was on top of me.
It was Asher.
I couldn't even find my words. I just stared at the male with wide eyes.
Even as Asher scrambled back to his feet and held his hand out to help me, I couldn't find my words.
Slowly taking his hand, Asher helped me to my feet.
After a short silence, I finally spoke. "I-it's okay.." I stuttered, staring at Asher with wide eyes, trying to ignore the fact that I still had my hand in Asher's.
Asher gave me an adorable dimpley smile. "Hey.. Aren't you Dominic Skellington?"
My eyes widened. Asher knew my name. I nodded slowly, not even able to speak. How could I?
"I see you around all the time. You're in my maths class, right?" Once again, I nodded. "We should hang out more. You seem like a cool guy."
Was this all a dream? I needed someone to pinch me. I just stared at the boy with wide eyes, in complete shock.
But then I closed my eyes and opened it again. And he was gone.
It was just a dream.
I was laying on the cold, hard floor.
There was no Asher in sight.
But I did see a familiar, unfriendly face. He had dark brown hair and cold, blue eyes. His hair was neatly slicked back and his pale skin was wrapped up in clothing for this fairly snowy day, his face slightly pink.
"Get up, nerd," the guy said. I immediately stood. My head was pounding and in pain. Immediately I knew I must've gone unconscious for a short while.
This guys name was Ron. Ron Universe. He tends to bully me a lot. That must've been what was going on. I was still slightly confused.
I closed my eyes and allowed Ron to boss me around. He hit me and pushed me to the ground. Called me many names. Kicked me and beat me up until I had obvious bruises and cuts forming on my skin.
This was the usual routine.
I curled into a ball on the ground.
I felt myself grow weak. Every inch of me in pain..
But then I heard Asher's voice. This was new. Asher was usually no where in sight when this happened. Am I still dreaming? What's going on?
"Ron! Leave the poor boy alone!" I heard the males soft, gently voice speak.
And that's when my vision went black.
