The Bite- Chapter 2

Bloody eclipse: Then he hesitated and said

"I have something I should tell you.."

I looked up at Kyle and said

"Go ahead, I won't judge you, I promise."

Kyle hesitated then said

"Ali... I'm a vampire."

I just stared up at Kyle in shock, not sure of what to say then I started to step back and I tripped over my skateboard, then once again right before I hit the ground he caught me and said

"I know it sounds crazy but it's true, I didn't mean to scare you if I did.."

He lifted me back to my feet and just stared into my eyes with his piercing blue ones, I tried to speak but nothing would come out then I finally managed to cough up the words

"What? Why? But how is that possible? I thought those were just made up as part of Halloween or just for fun.."

Kyle grabbed my hands still staring into my eyes and said in a calming voice, which kind of helped the fact that my heart was racing out of my chest,

"I know it's a lot to swallow but the reason I'm telling you this is because I really like you and I didn't want you to get to know half of me."

I wasn't sure of what to say but I managed to get out the words

"I like you too.. I'm actually really glad I ran into you earlier.."

Kyle smiled and laughed a little and said

"I'm glad to have caught such a pretty girl."

I smiled at him and blushed a little then he just smiled at me and softly kissed me while he had one hand on my cheek, I could tell I was probably blushing like crazy so I just stood there and kissed back. After about 15 seconds of the kiss he pulled away and softly smiled at me and I did the same, then he said

"You are a really beautiful young lady Ali, I'm glad you've trusted me enough to follow me here and not just run away from me.."

"I trust you because you haven't given me a reason not to trust you, plus you kind of caught me right before I fell off my board earlier."

He smiled at me and said,

"Well I couldn't just let you fall, you could have gotten hurt and have to finish going home in pain, and I didn't really want that."

I smiled at him blushing a little and say,

"Well whatever the reason, thank you for catching me earlier"

He smiles again and laughed a little then said

"Thank you for being such a catch."

I smiled and blushed again and went to look down but he stopped me by putting two fingers under my chin and gently pulling back up to look him in the eyes for a split second before he kissed me, he held it for a few seconds then pulled back then looked into my eyes and said
