We skipped math and just sat outside in front of the school. Once the bell rang for us to go to lunch we went back inside and all sat at one table together. They let me cut in front of them in the line and I just stared down at my feet real awkwardly and silently, wanting to cry but managing to keep it inside. "Are you okay?" Micheal asks me. "Yes I'm fine" I say a little aggressively. "Guys leave her alone for awhile she'll be fine soon enough, just give her some time" I hear Luke say defending me to them. I smile a very broken smile as tears form in my eyes and I look up at them. "Oh my god, Candi please tell us what's wrong, sweetheart. This is tearing us apart seeing our new best friend cry so soon!" Ashton says to me very comforting and he randomly kisses my forehead. I begin crying more than ever and slam into a hug against Ashton. "I love you guys, you know that right?" I say looking up with glassy eyes and a red face. "OF COURSE!" They all say together.
We finally sit back down at our table and they begin eating and keep glancing over at me in concern trying to figure out what could possibly be wrong. I play around with my food refusing to eat it and sit there in silence. "Alright. Candi this has gone on long enough you really need to tell us." Calum says. I look up looking like I'm pissed but in reality I'm just really depressed. I shove my food in the trash and begin walking away out of fear. Luke follows me and tells the others to stay, he catches up to me and picks me up bridal style trying to make me smile. He sets me down on the wall near the science hallway.
