A week later my birthday rolls around. I invited the boys and everyone in all my classes but sadly no one showed up. I called Luke to see why he didn't come and he replied with, "it's not that we didn't want to go we're planning something for you!" He said a little hesitant. "O-oh um okay" I say back as tears form in my eyes, we hang up and I drop my phone to the ground. 'They forgot my birthday' I say to myself , I begin crying and soon fall asleep on my couch. My dad comes out to see me passed out on the couch and wakes me up. "What are you doing your party is starting soon!?" "Dad, the party started 2 hours ago no one showed up!" I say disappointed . "Oh that sucks.What about those 4 dumb ass boys that you hang out with all the time? Didn't they come?". I tear up again "no dad... They umm they forgot". I stand up to go change into something more comfortable and I sit in my room wondering if they're faking their friendship with me. About 3 hours later my dad knocks on my bedroom door. "What do you want dad!" I yell at him. "There's someone here to see you, you sack of shit,come downstairs." "Ugh fucking fine". I stand up and walk downstairs to see 4 idiots standing in my living room. I scream and jump into Lukes arms out of excitement. "What are you guys doing here!?" I say smiling huge. I hop down from Lukes arms and give the others a hug as well. "We told you we were planning something!" Ashton says comforting as I hug him.
I sit on the couch between Michael and Luke, while Calum and Ashton sit in front of me trying to make me laugh. Soon they finally make me giggle slightly "Awwww that was cuteeee!" I hear Luke say. My face turns red while I blush, "ohhhh I see what's going on here," Calum says. "Yea so do I, Lukey Pooky has a girlie friend!" Mikey teases Luke. "Shut up guys it's not like that!" I yell at them . "Then what is it like?" Ashton hints off. "We're just really close okay guys calm down!" Luke answers for me, "Yea, Close under the sheets!" Ashton jokes. "Guys stop it's not funny, it's really not like that!" I yell at them again. "Woah!" I hear Michael say out loud, "you know what, I'll be right back." "Candi wait, we were jus....". "Save it Cal, I understand I'll be right back!" I say to him as I walk to the bathroom. About 5 minutes later Luke knocks on the door, "Candi, are you..". "I'm fine Luke really just hold on for a second." I walk out in the hallway.
(LUKES POV NOW)
I understood Why she was so upset but I didn't think she'd run away like that. I look down on her shirt and notice blood on her shirt and a little dripping from her arm. "Candi why'd you do this again? Just because of the 3 idiots? They were just playing!" I tell her. "No Luke, You know damn well it's not because of them. You know why I did it!" She said to me. Ashton heard us talking, "what's going on guys?" He asks. "Oh um nothing I'm just gonna go change real quick" Candi says taking glances at the two of us.
Candi comes back wear my clothes. "Ummm you do realize those are mine right?" I ask her "yea i know, they're just comfy" She smiles at me brokenly. I grab her hand knowing what the others will say but don't care. "What are you doing Lukey?" She asks me. "Listen Candi, I-I- I like you" I tell her. ".....you..you do?" She asks me. "Yes". "I like you too Lukey." She says back to me" I look at her eyes "really?" I ask her. "Yep!" She smiles confidently. "D-do you wanna be my g-girlfriend?" I ask scared of rejection. "O-of course!" She says back and I hug her extremely tight after.
We walk back to the living room and the guys are staring at us since we're holding each others hands. "See NOW Lukey has a girlfriend!" Candi says blushing out of excitement and she smiles. "I KNEW IT!" Mikey yells out loud with a huge smile on his face. "I KNEW YOU GUYS LIKED EACH OTHER" he gets real excited. "Well, you're right Mikey!" I tell him and I kiss Candis cheek. "Aww you two make the cutest couple ever!" Calum smiles at me.
