*Walking back to the caravan after the death rally race*

"Rhys, It's not that hard to understand.. Zer0 obviously likes (Y/N), and you're well.... you" Fiona explains to Rhys who still cant seem to understand why Zer0 saved you back at the race and not him. Your face blushes at the reminder, Zer0 saving you more times than once.

"That and the fact that you totally obsess over him every time you hear his name" Sasha adds, taking the side of her sister. Rhys doesn't answer, but instead squints his eyes at both of them. Trailing behind, you can't help but feel sad the race is over. It was unlikely that you would ever see Zer0 again which only adds to the unsettling feeling in your stomach. You would have chatted with him longer if it wasn't for Rhys and the rest of the group interrupting. It was obvious Zer0 felt like the odd one out so he didn't stick around for long. Instead, he quickly stated he had another mission to do leaving you both with no chance of exchanging goodbyes. Still stuck in the memories of the past, Vaughn catches you off guard when he waves an arm in front of your face.

"Earth to (Y/N)! The caravans right here! Are you going to come in or not?" Vaughn says, snapping you out of your head only to realize you had been daydreaming for almost the entire walk over.

"Uhh, yeah - sorry! I guess I'm tired from all that racing" you reply, stepping into the caravan and thanking Vaughn who politely holds the door open for you. Joining the rest of your friends at the table, you rest your head on your arm and await for someone else to break the silence.

"Tired?" is all Fiona says, directing her question at you. Instead, Rhys is the one to answer.

"Yesss, Soooo tired. It took a lot of effort to get that case, but i was able to pull through". Silently, everyone glares at Rhys who leans back placing his arms behind his head.

"Uhh last time i checked, it was (Y/N) who did most of the work. Besides, Zer0 was the one who gave her the case anyways. We should all be grateful for the both of them" Fiona corrects.

"Heeeey I helped!" Rhys speaks up, wanting at least some of the praising. "Oh and (Y/N), maybe you should hide that case instead of carrying it around"

"Yep, I was going to. I'll do that now" you reply, standing up from your seat to open the caravan door.

"You're going outside to hide it?" Sasha asks looking confused.

"Well yeah, how many good hiding spots are there in a tiny caravan? I'll find a spot for it within the area" you reassure, stepping outside and onto the hard ground.

"Alright, don't be long! It's already dark out!" you hear her shout as the door closes behind you.

*ABOUT AN HOUR LATER*

After indecisively searching for a hiding spot for longer than you wanted, you are satisfied when you find a tree with a large enough hole in the trunk to place the case into. It was not only conveniently close, but clever enough that no one would find among the dense forestry. Feeling satisfied, you begin to slowly pace back to the caravan. Staring up at the night sky sparkling with stars makes you feel even lonelier than you normally do. Focusing on the brightest star in the sky, you decide to act like a child and make a wish to yourself. Smiling like a kid on Christmas morning once you come up with the perfect wish, you prepare to recite it in your head but are interrupted by a strange noise in the distance. Trying to look in the direction of the sound, you fail to see anything due to the darkness of the night. Brushing it off as there are usually baby skags around the area, you resume your walking. Once again, the sound emerges forcing you to stop and listen. This time it is much different, similar to the sound of rapid running and movement. Instantly relating it with the sound of Zer0's running, you carelessly speak out into the night.

"Zer0? Is that you?" you speak out louder than you should, heart beating fast as you wait for a response that never comes. Feeling discouraged and stupid, you turn back in the direction of the caravan but are instead greeted with a bandit in your face. Instinctively stepping a few feet away for him, you back into yet another bandit, frantically looking around in every direction as more of them emerge out of the darkness. Knowing how defenseless you've just become, you do the only thing you can in this situation and scream.

"FIONAAAA! RHYSSS! SASH-" is all you manage to get out before they pounce towards you. Pulling at you from every direction, duct tape manages to cut off your desperate cries for help.

"SHH SHHhh shhhh... Come for ride on shiny meat bicycle!" one of them shouts enthusiastically, pushing you along so that he can tie you to the back of his motorcycle. The others cheer along as they follow his lead, moving to get on there vehicles as well. Although defenseless, you cling on to the hope that at least someone managed to hear your screams. Not going down without a fight, you try to make it difficult for the bandit to tie you up, flailing around as much as possible. This only make him use more force as he pushes you down, now with the help of two others. While it takes two to hold you in place on the seat, the bandit is successfully able to tie you securely leaving no chance of escaping. As he drives off into the unknown, you are worried and scared, although this time there is no Zer0 to bring you back to safety.
