Chapter 1

//FLASHBACK//

Sounds of laughter started to come around us as we were surrounded by people. 

Everyone was pointing at Areum as they were laughing at her. Guilt started to rise in my body.

"Areum, I-"

"Don't Jungkook," she cut me off as she stood up and started to walk away, "I don't wanna hear your nonsense anymore."

She stopped and turned around. Tears that were crystal clear formed in her eyes.

"It was nice to meet a guy like you. It really was. But even if we couldn't be in a relationship, I thought that we could just still stay as best friends. I guess not.... Well, goodbye Jeon Jungkook," she said without a smile this time and walked away again.

"Wait!" I said, but people started to surround me and congratulate me.

"That was a good show, Jungkook."

"Wow, great job."

"Bro, that was HILARIOUS!"

People patted me on the back and gave me high fives, but my eyes never stopped looking at her walking away.

Until that day on, I never stopped thinking about her and her words.

It's been two year since I saw her or heard about her.

I bet she hates me now.

I bet she really wants to kill me now.

"Yah, Jungkook. Are you okay?" J-hope said.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just ... thinking."

"About her again?" I looked up. How did he know?

"It's not only you," he said, "All of us miss her."

I miss her presence, her smile, her laughter. Everything.

But it was my fault that she hates me and won't hang out with BTS.

It's all my fault.

"J-HOPE! JUNGKOOK! WE'RE GOING TO THE MALL! WANNA GO?!" Jin yells.

"SURE!" J-hope yells.

"Aish. Hyunggg, I don't wanna go. I just wanna stay home," I complained.

"C'mon, it's been a while since the whole gang hung out together," he said with a smile.

"...ok fine"

We went from shop to shop, buying some cool stuff.

When we were about to leave, we heard someone say hyung's name.

"NAMJOON!" she said.

We turned our heads and saw the one and only

Areum.

Areum?

"AREUM!" yelled all of BTS as they ran to her except me.

Of all the days I go out, I see the person that hates me the most.

"Hey! How are you guys? It's been such a long time!" she said happily to everyone.

Everyone was happily laughing and smiling. I even smiled a little when I saw her.

Maybe she forgave me for what I did.

She finally turned to me to be greeted.

"Areum I-"

"Hi! Are you new in BTS?" she asked me.
