Chapter 11
I ran through the halls looking for Emily and Ryan. Then there it was… I sensed them in there. I opened the door and the only person I saw was Emily.
I blinked back in confusion and took a slow steady step away from the door.
"Well, well, well isn't it little Madison" she shut the door behind me.
I blinked in shock how'd I get into the room. I definitely didn't walk inside after seeing her here.
"You are going to ruin my plans, I know about you being Cameron’s mate, but you see I'm his fiancé and your nothing now, it wasn't a shock that he rejected you I mean look at you you’re not even pretty" she circled me.
What the hell is going on?
"You’re a sad excuse no wonder he wanted someone better, sweetie just give up you can't stop me I'm smarter than you" she grabbed my shoulder tightly.
"Don't underestimate me, and don't you have Ryan?" I crossed my arms angrily ripping my shoulder away from her.
"No, no you see Ryan is high ranked, but he's just a toy to me just like you are for Cameron, you see Cameron is an alpha which means mating him will help me" she smirked.
"What do you want? Isn't it better being with your true mate" I glared at her.
"Not if I lose the opportunity of being one of the strongest leaders of this pack" she crossed her arms leaning against the wall now.
How the hell is she moving so fast!!!
"You little bitch had a chance of a real love and your choosing power over it and ruining my life by taking my mate" I spat jabbing my finger at her. She chuckled and I growled lowly.
"Yes now I suggest you-" she started but was cut off when Cameron came in.
The hairs on the back of my neck stood on end and Emily smiled. I glared at her secretly wishing she would choke on air (I know not very nice, I know).
"Hi honey me and Madison, were just having some girl talk" she smiled innocently at him.
Cameron looked at me and I gave him a fake small smile. His eyes flashed and I knew his wolf saw through the fake smile. He was my wolf’s mate after all.
"Oh ok I was just looking for you, its dinner time" he spoke uncertainly.
"Oh ok lets go" she walked over and took his hand entwining their fingers.
My heart broke and I tried not to tear her hand off of his.
"Maddy let's go" Cameron called leaving the room.
I walked behind them trying not to be in pain at the sight of them.
But it was difficult. He was so happy. I felt hurt; I was the one who was supposed to make him happy. I sighed; I have to push these feelings aside. There's something bigger I need to concentrate on. And that is revealing the true Emily.
