"Is it so? You... Are with child?" The man asked the queen hesitantly.

"It is so. We now have the heir of the Swan Realm. Now I must retire to my chambers, please, continue your work in privacy." The queen bowed to the man before walking away from his study.

The man smiled to himself. His searching was over but his quest was not. He would find the girl he saw in the mirror and he would not rest until the day he found her.

Lillian blinked looking around her surroundings. She slowly stood up shaking her head.

Bam!

Her head hit the dumpsters lid with a loud sound. She touched her now throbbing head. Lillian's eyes widened as she finally realized she was "home".

"It was all a dream? No, no... That couldn't have been a dream." Lillian opened the lid stepping out into the dark alley.

Am I really here? She thought walking out onto the sidewalk.

She looked around stunned at how much she missed the Manhattan streets, even if it was just a dream. She walked to the park where she met Erin and sat down on the same park bench.

She placed her head in her hands and waited. She wanted Erin to show up and bring her back to her dreamland. It was better than her "normal" life.

"Who are you waiting for so late into the night?" Erin's Irish accent rang into the night.

Lillian stood up running to him. "Erin! That all wasn't a dream was it?"

Erin looked confused. "Sorry lass, but who are you?"

Lillian backed away her jaw hitting the floor. "What? Erin it's me Lillian."

He looked around confused. "Who's speaking? Show yourself!"

"Erin, I'm standing right in front of you! Don't you see me?" Lillian cried out discovering that she in fact had faded away, lost in the fog.

"No, no, no, no! Help me!" She screamed plunging into eternal darkness.

Lillian woke with a start, her heart thudding painfully against her chest. She folded her arms around her legs resting her head against the tops of her knees. She couldn't cry about this, even if she wanted too.

"Hey, Lillian. You alright?" Erin's voice said softly as Lillian felt a hand on her back.

She nodded weakly taking a deep breath,"I'm a swan princess. How can I be a swan princess? I've lived my whole life in the Human Realm."

Erin frowned. "You're the queen's daughter. It's kind of self explanatory."

"Well I'm sorry for being an idiot! Now, can you please tell me when I am going to get my wings." Lillian shouted, jumping to her feet and crossing her arms over her chest.

Erin shrugged, "how should I know? Go ask the queen."

Lillian sighed almost walking out of the room before realizing she had no idea where the queen was. She turned towards Erin, opening her mouth to ask where she was.

Before she could utter a word Erin pointed to the right hall. Lillian silently thanked him, walking quickly to the queen.
