A Heartless Woman

~Erza's POV~

My vision blurred as the air was knocked out of my lungs by this... this bitch. she killed one of her allies just for "getting in her way" I could feel her palm in my stomach as she threw me to the ground. I slowly stood, to her heel in my shoulder pinning me to a wall with a six inch, I felt it slice through my shoulder, the scent of blood, my blood, was filling the air, I hope natsu can smell it and save me from this insane bitch. Just then Natsu arrived and got to me just in time if I'd lost any more blood, I'd be gone for she stroke me many times before I was unable to fight. Removing her heel from my shoulder she jumped and spun in the air her foot smashing into Natsu's face throwing him back, using her speed, she did the same to Natsu as she did to me throwing punches and kicks, incredibly strong yet the only magic I've seen from her is speed. She unsheathed her sword and cut Natsu's forearm, right on his guild mark which pissed us both off tremendously. My mouth filled with blood and my eyes with tears, I thought I was going to die...

~Natsu's POV~

The "Traveling merchant" or so the woman called herself almost killed Erza and is now damaging my guild mark, she has nerve. I watched Erza and the woman at the same time, it was nearly impossible, and when I saw Erza losing consciousness the fire of rage burnt inside me, in that rage I punched the woman in the stomach, I think it was the first hit anyone landed on her. She didn't take it well I could see her anger but she just left like a coward, and all she said was that she wished well for us. Gray, and Lucy arrived one she was long gone, I held Erza In my arms.

"What Happened?!" Lucy asked concerned.

"Some heartless bitch attacked her, the one that killed her friend..." I said as I shook with fury, I hated that woman and if I ever saw her again I'd make her pay.

We rushed back to the guild as fast as we could. When we arrived at the guild Erza was admitted into the guild infirmary right away and Wendy was in charge of healing her. As we waited our guild door creaked open, I could see the sun shining and it was difficult to see, but that smell, I couldn't forget it, macadamia flowers and blood she smelled so strongly of both, someone without my senses could probably smell it. I twitched with anger, she dared to come to our guild after what she did to Erza. I jumped out of my seat and threw every attack I knew at her, but unlike last time she wasn't fighting back just taking the hits but after hurting Erza I wasn't going to let her go without a good beating, She was down on her hands and knees I was about to land another blow but Erza came out of the infirmary and yelled at me. Even with wendy's healing magic Erza could barely stand and she was still covered in bandages.

"Thats Enough!" Her voice practically shook the guild.

"But she almost killed you!" I shouted back.

"Does that give you the right to kill her, she could have killed you and me both but she didn't. Do not fight an enemy that isn't fighting back! Now what are you-" Erza stopped seeing that the woman was no longer there, she left like a coward again.

~Makarov POV~

I watched Natsu beat that poor girl, dark guild member or not Erza's right if your enemy isn't fighting back do not fight them. As Erza and Natsu argued I got out of the guild before anyone could notice, I needed to find that girl to figure out what she wanted, I won't leave young girl roam around with injuries with our guild's name on them. I searched the entire town and on the outskirts I finally found her, she looked mostly fine the only proof of her injuries was dried blood and there was quite a bit of that.

"My child why did you come to our guild?" I asked her as she turned to face me.

"To redeem myself." she said with no emotion.

"That was very quick." I said with questioning.

"Fast or not all that matters is I made a great mistake and I wish to make up for that." She still showed no emotion which left the question was she serious.

"What has brought you to that decision my child?"

"I saw the way Natsu cared for Titania and I envied such friendship, I was expelled from my guild for letting them all live and taking down another member. I've heard tales of how great your guild is and I would like to join to prove that I am not a heartless woman, for that is what your members think i am to be, I can hear what they think about me." hear? She can hear their thoughts, just like cobra, could she be...

"well child tomorrow you may join, first I will talk to the other members about Natsu's awful acts and how we will not tolerate such madness. Now what's your name." She turned away.

"Just call me... Whatever suits you really." Her voice changed and became slightly happy. I walked back to the guild, it was dark but reluctantly the majority of the guild was still there.

"Children, you have disappointed your master, and left a young girl injured walking in a town she doubtfully knows anyone in now she will return tomorrow and explain her case and you will listen and be kind, if you don't have anything nice to say to her say nothing at all, grin and bare it all of you!" I yelled.

"You invited her back! She's a murderer!" Natsu yelled back

"ENOUGH! She is coming and none of you can change that!"

The next day came and surely she arrived same makeup same straight face but different attire she wore almost exactly what Avatar's Briar wore, which guild did this woman originate from? Avatar, The Oracion Seis, or some other guild. Her eyes were dull and her lips formed a frown she looked heartless but she's not she's just a confused child.

"I want to join your guild, I envy your bonds, I've never once been loved in my life and I could bring myself to harm you anymore than I did. I was expelled from my guild for sparing you but I wouldn't be able to live with the guilt I've never seen love before... I couldn't put you through the pain of loosing someone you loved..." Her voice shook and lips quivered. No one spoke.

"You may join our guild child" She went and got her guild seal mark and left right away most likely due to the discomfort in the air.
