Chapter 3 - First Day Of School.

" ALLY, ALLY!! " my mum said trying to wake me up " Ally wake up, you have school''. I groaned letting her know I was awake. Once I had woken up properly I made my way to the bathroom to freshen up. I then went down to the the kitchen where mum had already made breakfast. I sat there eating as she gave me and Sophie directions to the school, she had a job interview so she couldn't take us..             

After breakfast I went up to my room and straightened my long wavy hair "might as well make an effort.." I thought to myself, then I started getting dressed in the uniform dad had picked up from the school when he was here a couple of weeks ago. It was like my uniform back at home. Thinking of home, it should be daytime there by now. I picked up my mobile and called lucy, I was used to talking to her everyday,so it was hard not knowing when I'd  see her next " Hey babes " I heard her say, " Hiya " I said , " How ya doing " she asked " Not good, it's my first day of school today, I'm really nervous " I replied, " Aww, don't be you'll be fine " She said. "It'll be weird without you there though..what if everyone hates me? " ....."Ally, no one could ever hate you, don't worry. " she replied quickly. "Okay well I gotta go get ready.." "Okay, text me later and tell me how it was ".. " Okay, bye..." "...Bye..."

" You'll be fine Ally.. " I said to myself..." Soph you ready " I called out " Yeah, nearly " I heard her say. When we finally got out the door we walked in the direction mum had told us to go in, apparently it was only a ten minute walk from our house. As we were walking we saw some other kids with the same uniform as us,so we followed them. Within a couple of minutes we had arrived at the school gates.

Me and Sophie both looked at each other " Here we go..." we sighed. I was so nervous, I felt like my heart was gonna beat out of my chest. Walking through the crowds of people was extremely intimidating. I felt like everyone was looking at us. " Snap out of it Ally. " I thought to myself... We finally made it through the crowds and got to the entrance of the school. We found our way to the principals office, knocked on the door waiting for a reply. " Come in " we heard... Mrs White was really nice to us and said we're always welcome to pay her visit if we had any problems. "

" I knew you were coming today so I found two volunteers to show you around. " she said. She showed us out of the office where two girls were waiting. Sophie this is Megan and she will be in your class and will be showing you around and Ally this is Caitlin. We all said hello to eachother and introduced ourselves properly. Before I could even say bye to Sophie, Megan had pulled her in the opposite direction and started talking to her, I could tell from then they were going to get on.

Caitlin started showing me around and asking me questions about England and how I  was finding it over here so far. I explained to her that I'd only been in Australia one day, at that point I was starting to think that school might not be so bad as I thought it would  be. Caitlin seemed really nice and friendly, she had long blonde hair and brown eyes. She wasn't one of those blonde bimbos, she seemed abit of a tomboy actually. As we walked out of the front doors of the school she talked me through all of the cliques " their the nerds "..." their the bimbos "..." their the emos "..." Oh and their the fittest boys in the school,well at least they think they are because their rich boys "..." them boys over there are cool,not cool as in popular, cool as in their a  laugh,i'll introduce you to the- " she paused, as one the " bimbos " walked over to them and sat on one of the boys lap.''maybe later then'' she said.. I realised something was wrong..Caitlins mood changed immediately so I asked her what was wrong, she replied saying " nothing,I just thought Jai was smarter than to get with the school slut " " I'm guessing Jai is the one the slut is sitting on " I said " Yeah, me and Jai used to be really close until he started dating Ruby " you could hear the sadness in her voice " Anyway "  she said guiding me over to a group of girls. " Everyone this is Ally, she's new so be nice. "

They all introduced themselves to me, there was Alicia, Melanie and Vicki. They were all so friendly, Alicia had brown hair and blue eyes, she was really funny. Melanie was blonde with blue eyes, she reminded me of Lucy so much! Where as Vicki had black hair and blue eyes, she seemed more serious, she was still nice though...I could tell I was going to be friends with them.

 " DRING,DRING "  the bell rang. I followed the girls over to where everyone was gathering, suddenly I heard a little shreak... It was Melanie, one of the boys that I saw with Jai earlier had his arms wrapped around her waist, obviously giving her a fright...." I'm guessing thats her boyfriend " I said to Caitlin " Yeah, that's Daniel but we call him Skip. "

We all made our way into our classrooms, luckily I was in the same class as the girls. I sat with Caitlin right at the back...In front of us were Alicia and Vicki, beside us was Melanie and Skip and in front of them was Ruby and Jai.There  were two other boys as well but I didn't know their names, I didn't even get a proper look at their faces. I was absentmindedly staring over at them, when I saw one of them turn around looking straight at me. I quickly turned my head looking down at the desk realising I'd been looking their way the whole time. Im positive I then heard him say something to the other boy about me, I don't know...maybe it was just me being paranoid. Caitlin interrupted my thoughts when she  started talking to me and before I knew it class was over.

The rest of the day passed pretty quickly. When the last bell rang for home I said goodbye to all the girls and waited at the gates for Sophie as I could see her coming.

SOPHIE'S P.O.V 

Walking towards the main entrance of the school I could see Ally patiently waiting for me at the gates. I said a quick goodbye to the girls I'd been hanging out with all day. As I walked over to Ally I felt a hand on my shoulder, it was Jake. Jake was a Kid from my class, he was tall with brown hair that almost covered his bright green eyes, he was really nice. I'd been hanging out with him today as well.. When I turned around I said " Oh, hey Jake what's up?! " ... " I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to come to a party on friday? " he said in his sweet  aussie accent. " Um, yeah sure! " I replied "Cool, I'll tell you the details tomorrow " ... " Okay " I said, he smiled and jogged off out the school gates  passing Ally on the way.

Ally raised her eyebrows at me with a smile on her face. " he's cute " she said. At that point I was blushing, he was really cute and what's more is that he had just invited me to a party, I doubt mum and dad would let me go though.. I bet they would let me if Ally was going ...hmm..." Ally, are you going to a party on friday.. " I said " no, not that I know of,I'll ask Caitlin tomorrow " ... " Okay " I said.   " So how was your day then? " she asked me " It was fine, I made alot of new friends, I think I'm gonna like it here. " I said " Yeah, me too " she added.

Ally's P.O.V.

Me and Sophie were babbling on about how great our first day at school had been,we almost passed our house without realizing..As we were walking up the pathway towards our front door we suddenly heard someone say ''Hey girls'' in a deep Australian accent..We both turned around and saw this guy standing beside a car,he could'nt have been older than 20...Im pretty sure he was the one wearing a blonde wig yesterday,he definitely didn't look like a weirdo now though..He was actually pretty hot,he had brown hair,his body was toned and tanned,he was wearing a green snapback which brought our his bright green eyes...Maybe he was the figure i saw in the window opposite my bedroom last night......

Me and Sophie shyly said hello and scurried in to the house.When we shut the front door we both looked at each other and sighed,knowing we were both thinking the same thing....''He kind of looks like Jake,dont ya think?''Sophie said....''Ye, he does'' i added...
